I contacted the service provider approximately a week before the expiration date of the offer which was to provide 2 hours of electrical work for $125.00. When I contacted the company I was told that the $125.00 would only cover the cost of an estimate and not electrical work. They never came out. They were requiring me to get something else done and I told them exactly what the coupon said. It does not say in the fine print that I need to get any other work done. The individual on the phone was unprofessional with his tone. I am not using this company.

I used an Angie's List deal for a Whole House Electrical Safety Inspection. The technician, Eric, was very punctual, and very thorough when inspecting my house. Since my Dad is retired, I had him meet the technician to do the walk-through. My Dad followed Eric around the house and asked questions about issues I was concerned about. Eric pointed out some minor issues, and one somewhat major issue. He also said I would receive a follow-up email with a report, and a rough cost estimate for the repairs. On April 24, 2012, I bought a coupon on Angie's List for two hours of electrical labor for $125. When I tried to contact the phone number (410-823-5252) in August 2012, there was never an answer. There was a message saying that, if you're calling about an Angie's list coupon, send an email describing the work that you want done. When I asked him about the "free audit" w/any service call, and the fact this was priced at 1/2 the going rate, he said, he had nothing to do w/the billing/rates. I also wanted a written report on the findings, but not available then; they did send a very short summary of what they did, but not really helpful. I had used this service before on one of Angie's special, for electrical work of two hours. At that time, the electrician did replace a porch fan/light fixture and help repair a lamp. The subscriber purchased an AL Big Deal for an $89 10 Point Safety Inspection. During the initial call he said he did not want the 10 Point Safety Inspection but rather an analysis of a botched generator installation by another firm. Since the coupon had already been purchased, we agreed to perform the work that he requested instead of the work that he purchased as a courtesy. Did not call to confirm. I had to call and ask when they were coming out.Was given a time then electrician came out on time and inspected. Didn't really seem to do to much. Just said we needed a 2k electrical panel upgrade. I was informed of the fact I needed grounded switches within a certain range of my kitchen. Was given a receipt and he was on his way. Overall seemed average. I was not impressed or disappointed.
