Nearly $25,000 for windows and customer service that is the worst Ive ever encountered! We decided to purchase vinyl replacement windows from Champion Windows to help make our home more energy efficient and reduce maintenance requirements and costs for the future. Who knew what a nightmare this was going to turn into! Stay away! I had an estimate awhile ago for a replacement large picture window in the front of my house. I was told I wouldn't get discounts at the current time due to only one window. No big deal as I didn't need any other windows. I reached back out to the salesman a couple of months later to move forward with the window replacement. The salesman came back out to complete the paperwork on 7-27-23. They then did a final measurement a week later to complete the order. Never use this company- service is poor and the company doesnt want you
On 3/10/22 a contract for installation of 13 double hung windows, 1 slide window and 1 bay window was made with Champion. The first visit from the installers, measured for installation and said all the windows but the slider were the wrong size and they all had to be re-ordered. On the 2nd visit, everything got installed, but the picture window on the bay broke. The 3rd visit there was a 3" scratch at eye level. On the 4th visit there was a floating flaw in one corner. This is my second review I would like to file a complaint, but for some reason, it always wants you to do a review first. Mine started back in February 2023 I wanted my windows replaced and they sent someone out to get the order started when I told him that I only wanted 2 windows replaced he claimed that was not enough to set up financing so I added replacing my full glass front door, which by the way they were advertising buy 2 windows and get 2 free but that was never offered to me. After spending $30,000 - with multiple complications- we were to be given a glass storm door for our troubles that was a lie we paid over $1000 for the storm door- the door has installed incorrectly from the start which as 8/5/22- I called multiple times- they finally sent a tech out to say this door needs to be replaced- there’s a 1 inch gap and top and 2 inch gap at the bottom. This has been my worst process on any project ever! To be spending just under $30,000 for new windows that are installed crooked and nails left all over driveway(we have been picking up by the hand full and caused my son to have a flat tire).After no-call and no-shows they finally had the tech team come out to tell me I am seeing things then his boss comes out say he will set it up to fix. I had Champion windows installed about a year ago. Great Sales person and service. I referred my best friend to them. They treated them awful. Took their check and the Sales person never contacted them or turned in their order for over 3 months. He would not return calls promptly and never gave them any updates. Finally they requested their check, spoke to the higher up and were never offered any explanation as to why they were totally ignored.They were never given an apology.
