It was a nightmare experience for me.
I am satisfied with the products I purchased, but the installation was a disaster, so I don’t think I could recommend to anyone
The team was prompt, very courteous, and performed their work in a very professional manner.
Windows were installed April 7th and on May 3rd called the local office to complain that the one casement window not working properly. After many calls and meeting face to face with Bernard Hollowa he said it would be corrected. He would not take my phone calls (3-4) after that visit with his cell phone saying mailbox full and I left a message and he never called me back. It was finally done yesterday 37 days later after I E-Mailed Marcus Bonner with my complaint.
We signed on and gave our deposit last July and didn't get it built until May. People didn't communicate with us. We had to call all the time and people would not get back to us. There were multiple unanswered phone calls.
Champion Windows has major internal coordination problems.
The actual installers were very good. The administration and office were terrible. Also, it was almost impossible to talk to someone in the local office. Consequently, I would not use Champion again.
Sure. We ordered the door in November, we were told that the installation will be in February or March, but they did it in May. No communication whatsoever about why they were late even after we got their attention. I was told I was going to receive a call in 2-3 weeks and they didn't call, even though I complained and threatened to go to the general's office.
Salesman Marcus sold us on a “full window replacement” turns out champion does not do an actual full window tear out. After a lot of back and forth with the sales team and district manager the issue was finally resolved, however the window replaced is significantly smaller than the previous window. If we had the choice to do over we would have gone with Pella or Andersen as their quotes were VERY competitive with the job from Champion. Should not have had to gone through everything we did in order to get new windows.
