Get directionsWhat an experience of professionalism, kindness, and healing! My puppy got deathly sick one evening very suddenly and without warning. My regular vet was not available and recommended this vet office and I'm so glad we listened. I brought my puppy in and he was seen right away. He ended up staying three nights on IV meds. They took such good care of him and found what was making him so sick. They called and text all day everyday and provided every option with prices. Now, this was not cheap. I recommend pet insurance for eve... read more
Went here tonight with my dog who got a cut on the beach. Extremely friendly and knowledgeable staff- they answered all of my questions and helped me understand what happened and what I should do moving forward. If I need a vet and am in the area I will definitely bring my dog back here.
They are amazing. They were so friendly and detailed and took the time to explain everything. They took great care of Brixx and us too. They continue to call to check on us all. I highly recommend. The only place I will go from now on.
I was referred to this specialty Veterinary hospital by my vet because he suspected my 14.5 year old "somea" dog had an enlarged heart. We met with Dr. Jesty, a cardiologist, and her assistant, Libby. An echocardiogram was done and it revealed a tumor on my dog's heart. It was a heartbreaking diagnosis, but Dr.Jesty couldn't have been more compassionate and informative. She and Libby were amazing, like talking to a best friend. They removed the fluid around his heart and put him on a Chinese herb that controls bleeding. Li... read more
Leaving this as we're driving home because I just had to brag about this place. We had to bring our pup in for an emergency visit (which ended well, thank the Lord) and as traumatizing as that always is, everyone there made it such an easy experience. Every person we interacted with was so sweet and understanding and kind. They worked with us on options of care and made sure we had everything we needed for her to make a full recovery. Highly, highly recommend this place!!
Very professional and compassionate on June 23rd I took my Smokey boy in with swollen tummy along with a few other things not realizing how sick my boy was. I had to make one of three choices and all of them were difficult especially #3. It was so hard not to be selfish and bring him home with me with lots of meds but not fair to him at all. I was given as much time as I needed to make a decision while also being comforted by staff and Dr. I have never nor has my fur baby been treated so well in such a terrible situatio... read more
CVRC has taken amazing care of my dog Charles. The Veterinarians are staffed 24 hours in emergency situations and will text with updates.
I was visiting my mom for a few weeks and her dog had stopped eating and was having digestive issues so we took her in to have her checked out. My mom's dog is 13, so already has heart issues that is being treated by Charleston Veterinary Referral Clinic so my mom knew them well. They ended up keeping her for a few days but did a total work up and determined she had an inflamed stomach lining and a lesion. Bella now takes some medication to help her stomach heal and is doing much better. I grew up in Charleston and wish we... read more
The first phone call to Charleston VRC was terrific for us. Friday, my neighbor called to let me know Leo was out in the backyard. Saturday morning, we discovered Leo was injured in a car and was with the Berkeley Animal Office. We drove to CVRC from Moncks Corner when most vet offices were full-on that day. CVRC welcomes us in a moment of distress. The Doctor explains everything to us. Unfortunately, Leo's injury was too vast. Good Shepherd Pet Services provides cremation for our Leo. CVRC provides comfort and support... read more
