When everything is closed and you have a sick little fur baby, you're thankful that someone is open and there for your little girl. Just thankful they were open. Super service, pricey yet worth it to know that she's not as bad as I thought.
We are new to Charleston and were in need of emergency attention for our 15 year old cat, Elliott, at 7 am on a Saturday morning. He was struggling to breathe. This hospital was all we found that was open at that hour. How fortunate for me we found them!!!! I knew my end result would be to put my sweet boy down. He was suffering. Best Pet ER in the area. The staff is so compassionate. They are the only ER I will take my pets to.
The staff and Veterinarian was very professional. Always kept me informed of the next step. Explained the nature of my pet's issue in a very detailed manner.

I was in a panic because my dog had diarrhea for 5 days and my usual vet office could not see her. Having the option of coming to CVRC was wonderful! They prescribed meds that stopped her diarrhea within a half day and I could see that she was perkier and feeling better. Thank you for being there and taking care of my sweet dog. Acknowledged me as soon as I walked in and assured me that my dog would be seen.
We came in a bit panicked after our puppy Mac ate a sock. We felt so supported and comfortable in the Vet + Vet Tech's hands. We are so thankful they took such good and thorough care of our boy. They truly excelled in communication and quality of care. Thankful that our primary vet (VCA) recommended we take Mac here!
We had a great experience here with our new rescue Piper. Everyone we interacted with was great - very kind, and accommodating, and we weren't kept waiting long. I love how Dr. Jesty told us right away it was all good news because we were anxious about Piper's results. She went above and beyond with her care and interaction with Piper, and was very patient with her, to make sure she felt comfortable.
