We have the greatest trust in the Charleston Veterinary Referral Center, and especially in Dr. Sophy Jesty, who regularly checks our aging Maine Coon cats for HCM and we depend upon her not only for her specialty, but also to consider the overall health of the cats in making recommendations for anaesthesia and other procedures.

The Doctors here seem to really care and do everything they can for the pets! They quickly and efficiently tried to find a diagnosis for my pup, and ensure his comfort throughout. I understand it's difficult to manage so many animals, especially ones requiring medical attention. My only suggestion is maybe to take the animals out a little more, not sure what happened in my particular situation but my pup came home covered in feces.

Thorough, informative, never a long wait. Gave my Nova the best care! All my concerns were addressed, and every single staff member I interacted with made me feel like they loved my sweet old man. Made me feel confident he was in good hands.

While the experience I had with Charleston Veterinary Referral Center were due to needing to bring my cat in to the emergency side of their hospital - the service I received was above and beyond. I brought my cat, Bella, in for two separate hospitalizations. Both times I was blown away by the compassion and empathy I was shown by all members of the staff. I rate our 5 year experience with the Cardiology Department at Charleston Veterinary Referral Center FIVE STARS PLUS! Dr. Jesty and her cardiology team represent the very best in specialty care and treatment. So as not to gloss over personal attributes, Dr. Jesty is a brilliant, genuinely kind and caring individual that is integral to the experience.
