Get directionsOnly selected 1 star because I had to..I have to travel for work. My baby girl was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma (Bone Cancer) April 2022. She has been doing very well, so well a vet in Pittsburgh commented on how well she is doing considering she was given 6 months to live 9 months ago. I have encountered vets on our travels who have been SO AMAZING!! I went to these guys and told them what her vet had prescribed and requested only a shot of Ketamine to help with pain..THATS ALL SHE NEEDED, ONE SHOT. Well, these guys stepped ... read more
Sent my dog home early because she was "strong" died within 12 hours of being home. Best 2k I ever spent. I'm not even mad she died and they didn't do their job and wasted my money, but they weren't even honest. I've had vets tell me straight up a dog isn't going to make it, there's not much we can do, and then there's vets who give you false hope and take your money. And they haven't given me a call back since I called and told them. The lady was just like I'll have the doctor call you back and haven't heard since.
Used to be great but customer service and pet care both have gone downhill tremendously over the years. Impossible to get answers from doctors unless you're speaking to them in person and the receptionists are rude or give you the run-around when you attempt to get answers from them regarding your pets care. I would suggest finding somewhere else.
I made several calls and attempts to have my 5 year old Irish Setter admitted into the ER Intensive care to begin treatment for Blastomyscosis -a fungal disease that kills dogs quickly. I was told if I came thru the ER that there is "no guarantee" that he would be seen by an Internal Medicine specialist or the ER Dr would know how to treat the disease. Instead, I was forced to wait for an appointment with Dr. Clare and couldn't get in for weeks. Finally, Amy in Internal Medicine called to say a cancellation opened up an appo... read more
I took my Aussie here 2 weeks ago with vomiting blood and rectal bleeding at 5 in the morning. I parked and called the number posted outside the building. The staff including the vet felt it was not an emergency a d told me to take him home and watch him. I was so upset I called my daughter and she told me there was an emergency vet in Summerville on 3rd street. I took him there and he was seen immediately. Given IV fluids medications for vomiting and stomach meds. Sent home with meds as well. I will never use the Charleston... read more
My cat lost his footing on a guardrail and fell to the first floor. My heart sickened when I realized that Neffy fell. I immediately called CvR center told them what happened and told the I was taking him in. When I arrived I parked in #9. They came out with a carrier and took him to the back. When the vet came in at first Je said my cat was a tough cat. So I felt I he was going to be okay. Then he said leg was shattered we can amputate. I started to cry because if the knew him that wasn't an option. They came Back and sai... read more
These people should be ashamed of themselves!!! They won't give my dying dog medicine unless I pay them $500 every 2 weeks for exams!!! What a scam!!!! They want you pay for tests and fees when the dog will die anyway. They want you to pay approximately $6000 just to maybe give your dog 4weeks if it even works. Which your dog will suffer the whole time!! These jerks are letting my dog die now unless I pay them $500 a visit every 2 weeks. They refuse to provide medicine for a dying dog unless I pay for their Over-priced test... read more
The only thing this group seems to be adept at is letting you know how much they want to charge you. While giving an efficient wallet biopsy they had no one who was willing to discuss what was going on. By the receptionist response the Doctor who examined our cat was off duty, and despite this being a kitty ER, no other doctor could discuss this case. These people cannot be recommended. Suggest you find a different emergency animal clinic.
Charged me $800+ and lost the blood sample they needed to get a definite diagnosis of what is wrong with my dog. It's already so stressful when your pet is sick. I didn't need any more stress.
