I love this restaurant. The food is fan-tast-stic. The Asian Pear Martini is delish..and strong. It sneaks up on you. The crowd is beautiful and diverse. Music is bumping. I've been three times since June 2013. It's a little pricey. Great for a date or a girls night out. I think they have entertainment as well. Very sexy place.

BUT THE SERVICE WAS EVEN BETTER! Our server was Ebony and she was ultra pleasant and friendly. She made great suggestions and on top of that the food was great! We went on a whim after another area place had an 1.5 hour wait on a sunday afternoon!!!!???? Where are we???? Im so grateful for over pretentious places, because it helped me to find this gem. At any rate I will definitely be returning there. :-). The red velvet pancakes and fried chicken were very good, as was the shrimp and cheese grits. Mmmmm.

I really liked this restaurant. The food was delicious and our waiter Charles was courteous, knowledgeable about the menu and overall nice.

My boyfriend and I decided to try Chocolat on our recent trip to NY. We arrived 30 minutes early for our reservation and were seated immediately, though there were others waiting for tables. Overall it seemed like a nice place but it was very loud and crowded, which didn't allow for a romantic dinner. The staff was friendly but after taking our orders it took over an hour for our food to come out. I ordered the sangria and had to send it back because it had a very bitter taste. The macaroni and cheese was some I've had in the city. Its good without trying to be over the top. The wait staff- especially Tyler- was attentive even when our food was late coming out. The only reason to not give 5s across the board was that our food too FOREVER to come out. It may have been due to large Valentines' Day crowd but I assume you would plan for that. I am willing to try it again to see if it was a fluke.

This place is fantastic. I went with my boyfriend for valenitine's day and had a great experience. It has a great ambience, nice for a date night, birthday or even girls night out. Whatever the occasion Chocolat has a great atmosphere. The food was AMAZING. There were so many options and everything we ordered tasted great (the jerk chicken is to die for). You will be very pleased at Chocolat.

Too noisy -- not from the diners but rather the TV was much too loud. Requested numerous times to lower the volume, but the owner refused. Difficult to have a conversation.

First time @ CHOCOLAT. Pleased with Sunday Brunch menu choices - we ordered very tasty Crispy chicken & Omelette dishes. Outstanding service - our party was warmly greeted upon arrival, and waiters were very attentive. Will return, and definitely recommend Chocolat to my friends.
