A despicable firm that survives on deception, utilizing a number of sleazy tactics such as "bait and switch" on pricing estimates. Their customer service representatives are falsely polite during the initial onboarding process but turn into unresponsive at best and rude/abusive after finally reconnecting. DO NOT USE THEM. Furthermore, the firms they match you with are likely not highly rated. Trash attracting trash. Again, DO NOT USE THEM
I was screwed over by this company badly to the tune of almost a grand. I was blatantly lied to by the rep. I had two locations that I was potentially moving to and he told me theyd be the same cost. I eventually chose one. Then two days before the move I received a call from the moving company telling me that it would cost $180 more for the location I chose. That was just the beginning. Do NOT hire this broker. They have zero control over their subcontracted movers.Inaccurate inventory (even though I had a video conference with them showing the entire inventory), hidden fees and the delivery date is a lie. After paying everything and they took our stuff, I was told the delivery would take **** business days from the date we requested to have it delivered..Now my family will be sleeping on the floor for weeks.
My friend's daughter is relocating to a new city and this company provided her with two dates to choose from. She opted for Saturday, but to her surprise, she received a call today stating that they would be coming tomorrow instead. Unfortunately, she wasn't prepared for such a sudden change, and when she requested for them to come on Saturday as originally planned, she was informed that she would not receive her $600 refund. Worst experience of my life. **** lied to me about what the cost was about what services the movers offered, when I attempted to call back my call was never returned, the moving company they used said the brokers charge 2k that they dont even see and that this happens all the time, my items were broken in the move I had to leave items I had in my quote behind, I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy
Wouldn't recommend. The phone call and quote were great so started off well but then when pick up was happening they don't care about the items you put on there they just look at sq ft. So ultimately you can list everything you want but they will low ball you. Prize was double of what they quoted without me adding any major items. I have never been more unimpressed with a company and/or with the female employee who I spoke with in customer service. PLEASE WARN EVERYONE TO STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. My sister had a move from Salt Lake City to Gainesville, FL scheduled 2 months in advance, and they switched the pickup date on her 1 day before. I have screen shots of texts from employee ***** **** that say "Hey *******! You got it, we're locking in for 6/17-6/18. They are apparently a broker and sell your contract to other companies that don't honor the contract. Stay Away!
The Rep I placed my order with was friendly and helpful. However, I was told I only had to pack my *********** and they would take care of everything else. Wrong! Fortunately I called back to verify and was advised everything had to be boxed b/4 they arrived. They picked up my furniture on 5/4. It wasn't til everything was loaded that they told me the first possible date of it arriving at my new address was 5/12.
