The Rep I placed my order with was friendly and helpful. However, I was told I only had to pack my *********** and they would take care of everything else. Wrong! Fortunately I called back to verify and was advised everything had to be boxed b/4 they arrived. They picked up my furniture on 5/4. It wasn't til everything was loaded that they told me the first possible date of it arriving at my new address was 5/12. I am really not sure who to give the bad review to, All Coast or the movers that showed up. So it appears All Coast is a broker and bibs out your move closer to the move date. You get who ever is willing to take your load. The problem with this is the movers we received wanted to charge me $5000, for a quoted move of $2100. I refused and was going to cancel the whole thing and loose the $1100 already given to All Coast. Instead they decided to take the amount I owed and I paid an extra $500 for next day delivery . Not even one star - Zero stars. Negative 5 stars. In fact, will likely be taking this company to small claims court. Do not do not do not work with this company. Completely inaccurate estimate and were told day of the move by a company that was contracted out that we would need to pay over 4 times more than estimated. We were estimated about 2,500 and were told when everything was packed up that we would be paying $9,000. Scammers.if I could give zero points I would. They subcontracted my move to another company which doubled my moving cost on the day of the move. Asked me to pay cash and give them mandatory tips . Did not even show me what the space I had been charged for looked like. Thieves, thieves, thieves! Please take the negative reviews seriously, it WILL happen to you. Trust ****** as far as you can throw him. THEY ARE BROKERS! Bait and switch. Go directly to the moving company or carrier, DO NOT use a broker. They charge at least 1/3 more and do absolutely nothing for you. Please do your due diligence, check the BBB reviews, all one star. Absolutely terrible company. Promised all kinds of things that they didn't deliver on. DO NOT TRUST THEM!
Warning: Do not utilize this company. Why? They conduct ********** activities to lure customers in and keep deposits. This happened to me last May 2022. They kept my deposit after many attempts for me to cancel the contract within the required 3 day window pursuant to the contract. I filed a complaint with the Hillsborough Municipal Court in Florida. Absolutely terrible. Moving quote seemed reasonable, but they over doubled the cost as the move got closer (I did not add any items). The communication was terrible. They lost one of my boxes, damaged items that are irreplaceable, charge 5% fee to use a credit card, and use a sketchy claims company for damages that offers pennies for damages. Very unprofessional. This company is full of unethical scammers. Poorly run. Rude staff. Stay away from this company.
The entire experience was awful as the staff are rude and have a tendency to cheat in each and every step of the moving process. On Day Of Packing: The estimated quote for the move they gave was $2047, however during delivery they charges double than what was quoted i.e $4113.00.When we asked for an estimated amount of packing they said 2 - **** hrs however they ended up taking 4 hrs.
