Absolutely horrible company that made promises of an easy, smooth process and delivered us into the hands of scammers and movers with zero integrity (Loadrans). We were lied to, pressed for upcharges at every interaction, and received our items over a month beyond a reasonable delivery.

My husband and I use their service to move 50 minutes away. My husband explained we were a third floor walk up and what exactly we needed moved. He was given a a price I got a cashiers check and on the day they came to move us. They told him they would need another $800 because they claimed they didnt know about the stairs. They came four hours late and proceeded to scratch and break my bed, my bookcase and my desk. They left the heaviest boxes in my garage for us to carry in I assume. Where to begin with this outfit. STAY AWAY from them. I made a move from ******* to *******, called several companies for a quote and received one from Coastal for about $6,500.00. It would be impossible to put into words how terrible this experience has been. On January 8, 2026, I spoke with ***** ******, a manager at Coastal Moving Service, to set up a move for my daughter. He presented as friendly and helpful and provided a quote less than PODS. He convinced me to use them over PODS because the movers would handle the items for me. While customer service was semi-helpful, the actual moving process was a ************ started with the movers showing up 6 hours late, forcing them to work until midnight. Absolutely, terrible services and terrible communication. They increased my quote $3000 on the spot. Three days prior to that, they increased original quote. The broker wasnt informative enough. I gave one star, but for this a zero is more accurate.
