Coastal Moving Service added additional charge was added before the movers would unload the van. The additional charge was never discussed prior to delivery. They are a rip off; plain and simple. I was given an initial quote months prior to my move that seemed very fair. Several days prior to the move, I received a call to finalize loose ends. At that time the price went up slightly which seemed fair based on the changes. The day I actually moved the priced more than doubled! How could the estimate be so far off. Don't use this company.

This was my fourth move and by far the worst experience of them all. I was contacted by a gentlemen after sending an inquiry and he was a fantastic salesman. He sold me on the company being family owned, how they do the route I was doing all the time (Boston to ***************) and could give a great deal. I sent a extremely detailed inventory list in which we reviewed in depth. This experience with this company was awful. They trick you with an extremely low quote at the beginning. The sales department completely scams you to get you to sign your contract with them. They offer this low price and a small deposit, then 3 days before the move they call to do one more inventory check, and the cost becomes over double what my original quote was. Terrible experience, changed the dates of delivery last minute and tried to add an additional 2k worth of charges for a 1 bedroom apartment. Only took half of my furniture, counted bed screws as two items. ******************, recommend do not using!

Dont use this business. They quote you a lower price and when the movers come you find out they did allow the space for you inventory and then they increase the price. They take the longest time to deliver. I still havent got my belongings and its been 10 days. Communication is non responsive. I have reported them to *** due to the fraudulent pricing.
