If I could give 0 stars I would. Please please please go with any other moving company. I am a young woman who was moving alone and thought a moving company would make my life easier coastal moving did the opposite. The price ended up being twice what was estimated and I didnt add any extra items, they price based on cubic ft in the truck NOT by number/size of items. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! THEY LIE.Horrible experience - 3 weeks to get delivery - but they insisted it would only take 5 days! Charged over $1000 more than "Binding Estimate". HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE - scammers. I was quoted a long distance move for 3041 dollars and that it would be delivered in 10 -14 days. I paid the deposit confirmed all the sizes of my stuff (giving exact sizes of the boxes). They originally told me they were picking up my stuff on Monday, July 28th they cancelled day of and moved it July 29th. Once the movers showed up they told me it was 5900. DOUBLE THE PRICE. We had the great misfortune of being forced into the hands of We-Haul after hiring Coastal Moving Services to take care of our move from ******* to ********. This company started out great with excellent communication. I received my quote and paid up front and got everything set up, then the wheels fell off. They subbed my job out to a company that has a 1 star rating on here with tons of negative reviews, all stating the same thing. As I started to complain about the subs service, Coastal went silent. This company is a scam, do not use them, we had a small move across country, no furniture, just boxes, a TV and small writer's desk, we were quoted a price by ****** and promised because of the amount of things we were shipping it was not going to change, when ****** from "quality" called to confirm, instead of the 70 boxes originally quoted, I advised it was 51 and gave the sizes of all boxes (mixed of small, med, large) at this point I was charged more money, when ************* came to pickup the price double, not only bec... read more

Dodged a bullet with this one. Guy on the phone sounded irritated I was calling for a quote, then they literally hung up on me. After 1 minute of research online it looks like these guys are scamming people. Use anyone else.

Setting up the move was easy but they charged me around $2600 MORE than what they quoted. I even rented a UHAUL and spent $1k on my own moving stuff months before they arrived. I paid around $2500 to reserve my spot months in advance. As soon as the moving truck showed up the driver very quickly walked through my home stating it would cost significantly more than the quote I was given. Horrible mislead, 7/5/25 ******* answers he sounded so nice beware.
