I wish I would have seen all of these reviews before we even looked at Coastal. When reviewing companies to help us move from ****** to ***** they seemed really legit! I would give no stars if I could. They are scam artists. They charged me a deposit of 1400 dollars and told me they would keep in touch. When it came time to move they never called. I finally called them and they told me it was going to be another 3000 dollars. That is not what we agreed on, and when I told him I wanted to speak to his boss he refused and told me his boss was the CEO of the company and he didn't have his number. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY - They doubled the price of my move at the time of pick up by underquoting the coast. The entire more was $2000 + than what was estimated. Am overall c*** experience so far. Hope my stuff arrives in one piece.

This business is pretty much getting away with murder (not literally)! They are scammers and liars! They pray on people's trust by giving them a low quote, asking for a large deposit, and then putting them making their money on the pick up day when you realize you signed a contract for a fraction of the the weight you actually need to move. Upon arrival it was determined that you needed 450 cubic feet based on the inventory in your storage unit. You provided inventory for med boxes, book boxes, plastic totes, a sofa and 2 side tables. They charged 4 times .went from $2400 to almost $8,000. Then instead of unloading and putting stuff back together. They sent 1 person. I had to help carry it in! I'm disabled. Still hurting. Then they broke art, ripped a brand new box spring. My 50" tv. Was lying down. Broke. They pass the buck all the way to where no one is to blame.

We made EVERY MISTAKE IN THE BOOK by choosing Coastal Moving Services, LLC. MISTAKE #1 - We had never done a cross-country move before and were in a HUGE RUSH to get out before our closing date. This is an absolutely terrible company with disgusting customer service and predatory, dishonest business practices. I hired them for a move, I told them exactly what items there would be. I was told by the initial rep, *******, that my move was a “minimum job” and given a quote around $1700. I was also told that I was at only 66% of the minimum capacity so that my quote should not go up unless I doubled the job.
