Update: they never reached back out to me. I called and even asked to talk to the office manager and no call back so I guess they don't care.

Business response:

We apologize for any inconvenience you have experienced. We strive to provide excellent customer service and are disappointed to hear that we did not meet your expectations. We would like to address your concerns and resolve any issues you may have. Our manager did reach out to you after your last call, but wasn't successful at getting a hold of you. There is also an issue with us not being able to collect the notes from the ER visit that your pet had after your visit with us, in which we called 3 ER hospitals and they all s... read more

The staff at the counter were kind. The wait time was over 4 hours in the lobby. Which I didn't mind however the lack of care or attempt to even actually help my puppy was very apparent. The vet did absolutely nothing to help in fact once we were finally in a room it wasn't even 30 minutes later were we discharged. After 24hrs my puppy was still so sick and I rushed her to Tanasbourne Emergency Hospital where she remained for three days, because she almost died from Salmon Egg poisoning. I am very angry and bitter that the v... read more

Bad business model! Seems like everyone I talk to who has been a patient at this place is leaving because they switched to walk in only sometime ago. This business model only says one thing, that their time is more important than ours. No way to treat customers, especially those who've been patience there for quite some time.

Business response:

We apologize for any inconvenience caused by our walk in model. We have always been a walk in urgent care client, providing urgent care needs for our clients. Our intention is to provide more flexibility and convenience for our clients. We value your feedback and will take it into consideration as we continue to improve our services. If you have any further concerns, please feel free to contact us at (503) 693-1063.

After taking my dog to this vet for over 12 years with great care I am now going to a new office. When my dog was ill recently I came in 2 different days but they would not see her. Reason was they were too swamped with pets to see mine, even though she was well established patient. Dr Crepeaux never returned my phone calls to check up on Lucy. Fortunately, a new vet was found and she quickly started treatment for Lucy, and a liver tumor was found. SHAME on you, Companion, for not caring enough to see your own patient!! ... read more

Business response:

Hello Annette, Thank you for your support for over 12 years of services with Companion. We apologize for any inconvenience you experienced with our service. We strive to provide the best care for our patients, but sometimes unforeseen circumstances can lead to longer wait times. Since we are a walk in, first come, first serve urgent care clinic there can occasionally be times where we unfortunately have to put a cap on the day and refer clients to Emergency Hospitals. We understand the importance of timely communication and ... read more

Put on hold for almost 39 minutes just to be hung up on. I called back and was asked to be put on hold again, when I explained the situation I only got a very impatient "Ya we are busy." Well looks like you just lost another customer. Don't spam text me looking for business if you don't have the time to treat customers with basic respect. This is the third strike as they already misdiagnosed my cat with eye infections twice l, reprimanding me that it must be my fault the cats infection isn't cleared. Turns out after getting ... read more

We understand that waiting on hold for such a long period and then being disconnected is highly frustrating. This is not the level of service we strive to provide. We regret any misdiagnosis that may have occurred with your cat in the past. Our team works diligently to ensure accurate diagnoses and provide the best care for our patients. We are deeply sorry ... read more

BEWARE!!! They gave my cat worms! I've been coming to this vet for years with multiple pets. I've had my indoor cat for almost a year completely wormed and no fleas. No issues. I got the exam before surgery and was told he was perfect and flea free. I bring my cat to get fixed and 2 weeks later he has worms falling out of his butt. He was infected in their office and their response was " there are 20 people in line and people waiting for surgery right now" as if they don't have time for a paying customer. I was also told " ... read more

Why? Why on earth are you a walk in only clinic and not even an emergency hospital? I don't understand it. It would be significantly easier for patients and staff, if you made appointments. Obviously, block out time slots for urgent visits but there's no reason not to have appointment times. You're forcing everyone to form a line at 7am (when you don't open until 8), then you have 20 dogs and all the pet parents crowded into the waiting room. Dogs growling at snapping at each other and just complete, utter chaos. Dogs waitin... read more

Making an elderly owner (81) wait in the parking lot for over three hours with his Great Dane who had had a debilitating stroke is not good service not compassionate care for the animal or the owner. It's shocking and that a vet would treat a long term client like this. Terrible just terrible. I'd give no stars if I could.

Business response:

Dorothea, we know your time is valuable and can assure you we make every effort to see clients in a timely manner. As a walk-in clinic we cannot always predict the wait-time. Emergency cases also take priority at times and do cause inevitable delays. We always try to communicate our wait times to the best of our ability. We appreciate you taking the time to reach out and are always open to feedback and suggestions.

I took my cat here after he had thrown up six times within the hour. I expected a wait so I signed in and was handed a new intake form. After I filled that out I sat it on the counter right in front of the front desk ladies. Multiple times I watched the front desk ladies look at that paper work but never move it, since I've never been there I thought nothing of it. After waiting there for two hours and witnessing a lady who came in 40 minutes after me get sent to a room I asked when my cat would be seen. It was not until the... read more

Gabrielle, we greatly appreciate you taking the time to speak with us and for allowing us to address your concerns. We understand your frustration and will use this feedback to work hard to improve the service we provide our clients and their pets.
