This app is by far the most frustrating thing I have encountered and I have two 4 year olds!!!! I can be set my phone on top of my router and it still will not upload documents. I have tried using with wifi and LTE. I have closed the app and all other apps while using it. I tried turning my phone off and on again! It’s the worst!!!!!
Photo / document submission doesn’t work consistently (or sometimes, at all). The ‘next’ button that appears after an attachment has been added to a claim doesn’t appear to do anything at all. (If the app is ‘working’ or ‘waiting for the network’, there is zero feedback to the user.) The only options are ‘back’ and ‘save’(which stores, but does not submit a claim, as well as deleting any attachment images). Our company switched to Optum Financial within the last year and every time I try to log in it says “too many failed login attempts, this account has been locked.” I’ve called Optum, I can log in via my laptop, but the app never works. They’re not sure why it’s not working, but it has made trying to submit receipts an absolute nightmare. I need to submit receipts weekly due to my FSA account and now I can’t.
The app and site are down so often and when they are up and running I have to submit claims, receipts multiple times/ days before they show that they can be reviewed/ in progress. If they could fix app and website so it wasn’t so glitchy then it has potential to be a good site. However with all these issues I don’t know if I will renew my FSA card next year.
My banking app and medical record app are easier to log into. I’m not sure why this app won’t save my log in info. It’ll save the username but not the password. Even once you enter password it wants to send a verification code…Extra steps I’m not crazy about when trying to quickly log in and see if I have enough money to pay for a prescription.
Can not put state in when adding payee, please fix.
It feels like they are doing everything they can to make it hard to get the money you have a right to.
I cannot get requested receipts to upload either as pictures or as pdfs, either on cellular data or wifi. I’ve been trying multiple days, closing out the app, powering down the phone, etc. Also my photo settings are “selected photos only” but when I tap “add document” I have to sift through the whole photo album to find the right one.
I can’t get the app to load anymore. I’m able to log in, but then the screen blinks for a second and then it’s just a white screen. I called Optum support and the rep told me that the problem must be on my end because they don’t have any other complains about this. Clearly, others are having the same issue. The rep reluctantly out in a service ticket for the problem-I got an email saying that there was no problem. I still can’t load the app. Completely useless.
