Easy to use and segment data I have used similar products from 2 competitors. I highly recommend Constant Contact. The ease of use, and data segmentation make this product far superior. The email templates aren't real flashy, but you can add colors and pictures and your end result always looks very clean. Great product for reaching multiple campus constituencies! Overall, I think Constant Contact is great. I like the data it gives you (percentage opened, link clicks, etc.) as well. Pros The software is easy to use and creates a beautiful product. There are templates you can use and you can also copy emails you have done in the past to simply adjust the content. Cons There is no "free fill" so you are unable to put a photo exactly where you want it - it has to go within the prescribed box.
Constant co tact just didn’t work for me It was the help support that discouraged me from continuing using with this company and the cost. Pros I could send out emails. I could market with it but the expense didn’t work for me. Cons Expensive for the size of my company. I found another company that worked with my email list. Mi didn’t have a good response from the help desk which turned me away from constant contact.
Communication made easy Overall my experience with constant contact has been favorable and it has allowed me to reach out and communicate with a wider range of individuals. Pros The feature that I like the best is the ability to manage the communication to a variety of people and split it into smaller groups if I need to. Cons I would like to see more options for setting up what the template for the messages I need to send out.

I prefer mailchimp I always choose MailChimp over Constant Contact whenever possible. Pros It's easy to get started if you're using one of the pre made templates Cons You have to upgrade to be able to customize the pre made templates. Pre made templates are limiting.
