Waited for 20 minutes and did not get seated. Someone said they would be “right with you in a minute” and never came back. There were plenty of empty tables. Will not go back .

My son was discriminated against for having a neurodivergent episode. He lives with this condition and we are working to help him adjust to social environments and we just asked for people and businesses (BLACK BEAR DINER ) to be tolerant and understanding when these things happen , After being treated so poorly and asked to leave , I ask the black bear and businesses to educate and train their staff on understanding and how to deal with these challenges Black Bear Diner Vickie Sexson was the general manager at the restauran... read more

Our family has been going to black bear diner for years, we stopped recently after a huge increase in breakfast menu Grizz was $24,99 + coffee + tax + tip putting meal over $30.00 each, which is ridiculous, we found another place nearby “Country Way”farmers ordered on menu $15.99 tax & tip was much less and portions are larger than black bear Thank you black bear for not missing your overpriced breakfast, former customer

Walked in to try it for our first time and the host taking h names had an attitude and unpleasant demeanor as soon as we walked up. Not friendly, not inviting and totally rude tone. Being the first face people see, you’d think they would require a little bit of professionalism and friendliness. Won’t be back.

I'm really wanted to leave an overall good review but as I've looked back on the dining experience with my family, it was a very medicore experience despite me enjoying my meal overall. The meals ordered were: Fish and fries, which came with cod filets, hush puppies, and fries. This was a replacement meal as my mom's original order was out (All you can eat catfish). The 2 egg breakfast meal, which came with scrambled eggs, sausage, and two biscuits with gravy... read more
