Recommendedwe used to love it but not for the prices anymore. 6 99 for a juice is the straw that broke our back. my wife and I go and it's 50 bucks and some change for breakfast. good luck.
To whom it may concern: This Absolutely the worst meal we ever tried to eat. Starting when my husband arrived to pick up our Thanksgiving Dinner. I ordered for a 11:45am pick up and told my husband he needs to be there at 11:30am to make sure it isn’t sitting there getting cold. Went to the new Black Bear diner in Chico today and was disappointed. I ordered the cinnamon roll french toast. The menu description stated that it cam with 3 thick slices of cinnamon roll. I only received 2. When I asked about it the server stated that it is 1 cinnamon roll cut in half. This meal was over priced for 1 cinnamon roll. $14.99. This is no longer a decent restaurant to patronize. We went for breakfast today. Upon arriving the courtyard and grounds were filthy with trash and leaves. Upon entering we were never greeted and there were no pleasantries. We’re just asked how many in our party then taken to our table in a back corner. This place has gone seriously dowwwwwn. Had the worst breakfast here recently. Dried up potatoes, notably small portions and a giant biscuit consisting of mostly raw dough. Seriously overpriced meal for poor quality.
Fresno, CA. Shaw/Marty location. 10/8/2022. Approx 11AM. Was told a two hour wait. No thanks. Why wasn’t the place simply shut down? Adding insult to injury was their pitiful “Public Relations” who simply asked me to submit all of the information that I already gave, just in email. Umm. Isn’t that YOUR job? Black Bear has simply gotten too big for its own good and really needs to go out of business.
I put in my order with Grub Hub twice because, it said it couldn't take my order. I tried the first time with Paypal, and was charged even though, my order was canceled with no explanation. Then I used my cc and was charged again with no explanation. I called the Black Bear Diner in Riverton, Utah, and spoke to Nikki. SHE WAS VERY RUDE AND HUNG UP ON ME. Stopped in black bear today in lake havasu to treat myself to lunch and yes I went in as a single person and I watched two other tables of three and four not only get sat after me I was completely ignored their orders were taken and everybody just walked right past me won't ever be back
