About this business

In 1995 founders Bruce Dean and Bob & Laurie Manley opened the first Black Bear Diner in Mt. Shasta, CA. Their mission was simple: create a fun and friendly atmosphere where the local community could enjoy huge portions of home-style cooking at a reasonable price. Today, we continue their mission at every Black Bear Diner across the country, as we passionately provide guests an outstanding experience. Our menu offers comfort food classics, and our entire menu is offered all day long. Whether you are craving pancakes at 8 pm ... read more

I ordered my food in advance over the phone due to recent bad experiences with delivery services and Food apps. I was... read more

Tried out the restaurant in Fayetteville, AR this weekend. We ordered take out, and I got the tri-tip dip deluxe. When we got home, I found they had left off the Swiss cheese and did not give me any au jus to dip. Pretty disappointing for a nearly 13$ sandwich. I don’t see myself going back.

(Breakfast 10:37 am on a Saturday) - We waited 40 minutes digitally to be seated, another 40 was for our food to come. I asked for an Arnold Palmer, my wife a lemonade, and my son a chocolate milk only to be told only raspberry ice tea was still available and they were out of chocolate syrup for the chocolate milk. The food came, without being smothered in the signature gravy as described in the menu, the hash browns were burnt and overall we agreed all our food was bland. We will never be returning to Black Bear Diner again... read more
