your server was terrible basically told us the other people she was serving was more important. The food portion was tiny for the cost. Wont be back.

Burned my burger twice. Not slightly either, talking super black patches all over. tried to eat it the second time but just tasted burnt. Also kept sending it out with onions I had to scrape off even though I asked for none. Management was nice. Took the burger off at least. Server said the cook disagreed that it was burnt although the server agreed with me. Left hungry, what an unfortunate experience

Very Very disappointing! Our family first time to try, kids are so excited. Very poor service, waited for almost 45 minutes for our food, we end up leaving the place without eating anything. Never again coming back on that place ( santa clarita branch)Kids said mommy we are never going back in this place. I felt so discriminated.

Black Bear Diner looked cute from the outside, and being on vacation, my husband and I figured we’d try it for the novelty of it. The food was less than ideal. Dry chicken tenders that looked and tasted like they were from a bag. I’m also not sure how a medium cooked steak was able to be both dry and chewy..? Also kinda flavorless, a good steak shouldn’t need added sauce but steak sauce was added. It was our first time at Black Bear Diner today. The food was decent and our waitress was great. The red potatoes were a little under cooked and very greasy, but we loved the huge biscuits and the French toast! Just don’t make the same mistake I did and order the $4 bowl of fruit as an extra side with breakfast. The fruit consisted of a half of a half of a under ripe strawberry, 2 grapes, and the most disgusting under ripe melon I’ve ever had. I ate the 2 grapes and it cost me $4. My husband and I have went to Black Bear in Boise by the theatre every Wednesday for dinner for months. The last few times we have went have been horrible. Very slow service, we’ve been forgotten about, a lot of turn over with staff it’s very sad where this restaurant is headed. Tonight was the end for us we will not be returning after such poor service and waiting for longer than necessary for our food when they weren’t that busy.

Went here for my 7 year old son's birthday because the outside of the building looked cool with all the bear statues. However that was the only thing great about this place. The service was cool but the food was absolutely horrible! Terrible! we had a party of 10 and NO ONE....NO ONE enjoyed their food. The food was cold and tasteless. Now I understand why the place was empty. I will never recommend or visit this Diner again. Very disappointed and embarrassed that I invited family.

Today my family and I finally visited this new location. We’ve waited for the buzz of a new place to die down before we went in. I’m disappointed that this was our first and our last time.
