I usually love the food and the staff are very friendly. But this time waitress was abrupt and in a hurry. My salmon was dry. Could not finish eating. Very sad because we usually love Black Bear Diner.

I ordered tonight through doordash a 7 oz bacon cheeseburger medium rare with a baked potato and a chocolate cream pie. I received a cherry pie, the burger was so well done I could not eat it and the bacon was half cooked. the baked potato was hard so I had to finish cooking that. very disappointed. I let doordash know and they refused any compensation so I am very disappointed in both parties.

Waiting and waiting and waiting. It’s not rush hour or lunch hour. It’s three in the afternoon on a Friday and nnoooo server for 15 minutes!

Cute atmosphere, good service and great biscuits, however everything else was a huge disappointment.

Me and my husband went to this restaurant for lunch yesterday. We ordered the chicken fried steak and chicken & waffles with eggs. The gravy was cold and chicken fried steak was fried hard and the broccoli was hard it was not steamed; it was more like raw. The chicken strips for the waffles were fried hard. My husband and I went to the Humble Tx Black Bear Dinner yesterday, Christmas Day at 4pm. The male hostess was RUDE as if he was pissed he had to be there. We were told the wait would be 40 min....and those around us were told an hour. I guess because it was just the two of us, our wait would be less. However, there was SO many tables NOT occupied!!! we ordered pies for our Christmas dessert, and both apple pies where raw, and the pumpkin was burnt. thanks for ruining our Christmas dessert. please rethink making pies. we could have got so sick from the raw dough, and apples.
