TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

We have been waiting for this to open! We finally tried it today, and glad we did! We walked in and greeted with a big smile from one of the staff named Sierra. She walked us through the menu options, spice levels etc. She was darling, and so nice! The manager was super nice too! And, the food was yum yum! First of all, it is a lot of food! I ordered a hot and a medium. Hot is HOT, medium was a good heat for me. Delicious tender, and flavorful chicken with yummy slaw and pickles. I have a lot leftover for tomorrow.
My parents always get this place to go and I'm back from college so I was finally able to try it. They got the medium spicy chicken sandwiches and they were really good. The medium was a bit to spicy for me so I was chugging milk throughout it but I still highly recommend.
Excellent hot chicken. Newly opened in Rice Village. Staff is very friendly and best part is that it is halal!
I haven't even tried my food yet and I know I will never come back to this restaurant. The young man working the register was extremely nice and helpful. After my order was ready I was called to the front and the girl that put my order in the bag asked if I wanted a sauce. Since I've never been here before I asked a question about the sauces and she rolled her eyes, ignored my question, and then repeated the options again. I just picked something random and left. Bought family box & gave tip to receive BAD SERVICE Not only did I have wait over 35 mins but they did the wrong flavors & put cold slaw when gave us the food. Did not want refund & didn't even tell us they couldn't make modification to sandwich before ordering
Worst service I've ever received from any restaurant in my life. The slowest and most disorganized service. Me and 1 other person in the entire restaurant and they still have an extremely difficult time. Don't recommend if you value your time and want good food

The food luckily taste good but 2 sliders n fries with cheese for $16.50 is way over priced for 2 chicken strips n bread ...plus the store is dirty and boring def..won't be back I can get a chicken sandwich anywhere
This was my first time here. The chicken was poorly prepared; the breading kept sliding off. I also ordered the mac and cheese, which tasted like cardboard. The service was poor as well. I wish I could have enjoyed my meal before going back home.
