TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

The Chicken was outstanding, even at the heat level we chose. Youngsters beware, there appears to be a mosquito alarm inside. High-pitched whine made in uncomfortable to sit and eventually gave me nausea. Not something you want right after eating spicy chicken. Service was great though. I recommend getting take out and eating at home as they also have a lack of creamy dressings to counter whatever spice, just some bread. We will continue to eat here, but not here, exactly.

Late to the party..... however, glad we finally made it to Dave's Hot Chicken because honaaay let me tell you..... They have all the chains beat!!! The chicken is fire (they have zero heat options if you don't like spice) , the fries are crisp, seasoned and overall perfect; and the service is hand's down the best Ive had in years! Anthony is pretty much everything! He was friendly, informative, patient, and overall cool as a fan! I'd hire him in New York minute. Anyway, try this spot! Food was great! The chicken on the sliders were HUGE which made it better. Service was amazing as well. waiters helped take our trash, gave extra sauces, etc. they were very sweet. The whole place was just a great vibe. They deserve a lot more customers.

Food was good. Service was great! Donald helped at the register and was very kind and patient. He walked us through the menus and after we got out food he made it a point to come in and check on us. This was my first time trying Dave's and he made it a great one!

The service is pretty fast, and you can customize your order! I first tried them in LA and recently found this one in Sacramento. If you like chicken sandwiches, this that one I add cheese no slaw!

I loved the food! It was super fresh and the spice was exactly what I asked for! Itzel and Rebeca helped me out so much too, they were super friendly and very understanding even when I showed up late with a big order! Overall, I would recommend coming to the Dave's on Arden way :)

Having lived in LA I know how fried chicken should taste, especially if it comes with waffles. Theirs doesn't but man this definitely compares. I can get my hood East LA fried chicken fix in Sacramento and it's pretty cheap too. Some of the calories are on the menu but I am pretty sure they're inaccurate. Who is counting if they're coming here anyway lol. Great service, decent prices, and what do you want regarding ambience...it's fast food. Decent parking as well.
