TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

We we're on the hunt for a good lunch spot that we don't have near home in Elk Grove and I'm so happy with our decision. Dave's Hot Chicken hit the spot! Always used to eat this when I lived in San Diego. Stopped by after work today and Zack had such great customer service.
Came here Monday for dinner before running some errands with my Husband. Was greeted by Ernie at the drive thru and also greeted with a smile at the window. He mentioned that the reward scanner was having issues and offered to write down our rewards number, email, or just give us the receipt. We appreciated that he wanted to make sure we received our points. We left with the receipt, food, and a variety of sauces. Thanks for the awesome service!
Driving through the Arden area between meetings I saw Dave's Hot Chicken and had to stop to give it a try. To begin with, the place is clean and nicely decorated. The staff/cashiers are friendly and helpful, and they are conscientious about keeping the dining room clean. I was impressed. What I was most impressed with though was the slider and fries. ERNESTO V!! I strictly speak to CEOs, CFOs, presidents, FP&A operators in my line of work and generally hate drive thru/cash register type employees and their lack of grey matter. But this was different. Instead of a lethargic person to speak with who's sedated off the devils lettuce I had a well spoken, helpful, informative operator who walked me through my first time here and the menu. Great food great place! Ernesto was arguably the best fast food operator I've dealt with in 39 years
Chicken had a weird texture this time. Not sure if it was the chicken or the breading but still good. Costumer service however was great 10/10. Erne (Ernesto) was awesome!
