TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Food was tasty, line was to the door and it moved quickly. Our party of 4 was able to find a table and did others. I got the medium heat, others all got the hot heat. Medium was flavorful and I'd recommend, not overly spicy, my husband liked the hot and said he could go a level hotter. $15 for 2 sliders and fries.
Quick food service and delicious! They were extremely friendly when I came in and help me decide what to get, I will be coming back!
My visit started with excellent service from Isaiah. Then a short wait and a bounty of hot, delicious food was served. I had the slider and fries and took home a couple tenders for dinner. The chicken was so tender, the outside was crispy and packed with spice and the potato roll was just the right size, flavor and density. Fries were perfectly crispy. Tons of pickles and Daves sauce finished it off perfectly. I will definitely be back!
Great service and phenomenal taste! The food was ready fast and was fresh. Definitely better than most fast food spots!
Chicken was really good. Everything else - the bread, the drinks were pretty average. It can get really crowded and seating layout is a little strange inside. Hard to find a seat if you have more than 3 people.

My husband and I are regulars and love to eat here! We like to share a Dave's #2 with 2 sliders and fries. My go-to is the medium for a comfortable level of spice and my husband goes for the hot/extra hot depending on his mood. The fries are crispy, the chicken is juicy, really not much to complain about! I've only been here one time and wanted to know what all the hype was about. Good thing we ordered online because there were so many people inside waiting and ordering their food. Okay, so the hot chicken tenders flavor was a bit overpowering for my liking. (Had too much going on in my mouth.) The plain tenders were bit better to me, but the fries are super good!!! Super crunchy just the way I like! I would describe give it another try, though.
Absolutely delicious spicy chicken! Just the hot one was superrr spicy though. My boyfriend is able to handle a lot of spicy food and even his nose was running eating the chicken. I would absolutely go back.
