TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

I cannot even begin to describe how deliciously crispy and juicy their chicken sliders are. Dave's is officially becoming a frequent spot for me. I've already been back 3 times since i took this first photo! The chocolate shake is divine and the slider is seriously like no other. So this is the new chicken spot that opened in capitol hill. My lil cousin had the idea to eat here after watching a movie in Seattle. I do say if you come here come in the afternoon or right when opening. We stood in line outside for 20 minutes and stood inline to wait to order. Not to mention waiting another 15 for waiting on the food, and we ate inside cause it was cold that day. On total we spent $50 together the meal was about $20-25. Delicious chicken sandwich, fries were great and well seasoned too. Service was super quick and they were friendly. Would recommend!
Good food but system was being slow customer service was mid love there ice cube I would give Dave hot chicken a 9/10
The line outside can intimidating but it moves pretty fast! There's also the option to order online to skip the line. I came here with one ambition - to see if the reaper level chicken was what it was built up for be (I doubted it). The hottest chicken I've had is probably the howlin rays sandwich at the highest heat. They gave me gloves for that and Daves didn't so I thought at first it might've been a bluff. It's not. Its hot. Any time im craving a chicken sandwhich i come here, juicy chicken, great amount of spicy, very welcoming staff, and super clean inside. Everything from the sandwhich , fries, sauces, and milkshakes tasted great!
I got mild and the seasoning is perfect for me. I might got up a spice level next time. Great portion for great price so you can make 2 meals out of this!
