I finally found it! The fast food chicken of my dreams! Like other reviewers we happened to visit on opening day, unaware that it was indeed the first day. Yes, it was packed & food service was slow as a result. Exactly as I would expect for an opening day of an exciting new eatery. I'm sure that service will be much improved with our subsequent visits, which will be often. Wow! Delicious perfectly seasoned and fried chicken tenders! Nice crispy outside with tender juicy inside. The slider option was a nice combination of flavors to complement the chicken tender. We ordered the medium which had a nice little bite to it will try the hot next time. Expect a wait since it's a new place. With time I'm sure they'll get it all worked out

I was so happy that a location opened up on my side of town. We absolutely loved all the decor when you walk in, and it smelled amazing. I got the two sliders with fries and a Dr Pepper, and I tried the spicy cauliflower bites as well. It is definitely a lot more food than I expected, so the one slider meal would've been a lot better for me. The cauliflower bites were crispy and delicious, and I got them with the lowest amount of spice you can, but I will definitely be getting it spicier next time. Not what I had hopped. This was my first time visiting Dave's Hot Chicken on Costco Drive in Marana. First off the music in the restaurant was too loud. It was good music just way too loud. The counter server was very soft spoken so it was difficult to hear anything he said over the loud music. I was disappointed that their combos don't include a drink. I ordered a combo #3 that was $13.49 for a slider, a tender and a small fry. Then I had to drop another $2.19 for a small soda. That's a total $15.68 for a lunch combo meal! ... read more

I'm have been waiting in the drive through for 40 minutes and still have a car in front of me that hasn't been served yet. Shut the drive through down next time. I can't get out because there are cars behind me- I'm literally trapped. What an absolute nightmare. I might actually end up being here almost an hour at this point. Huge customer service issue. Not fun, not happy, not good. Got the food after 43 mins in line- too salty, not hot and depressing.

My wife and I love the chicken sandwich but only if you can get it in a reasonable amount of time. For the second time visiting the store we were told it would be a 30-t0 40 minute wait on our order. We have had this experience on multiple occasions. We said we will never go there again and yet return only to find out there is still a long wait. I guess we are gluttons for punishment. Have to get my chicken sandwich somewhere else.

The place is absolutely filthy, from the front door to the bathroom. One person on duty up front, and one, maybe two, in the kitchen. Ice machine broken. Tables dirty. Fries cold. Took a LONG time to get our food. Worst fast food place I've ever been to. Owner should be ashamed of this place. The young lady up front was overwhelmed, but maintained a great attitude. That was the only good thing about this place.
