Make sure sizes and colors are correct. Had to change order three different times.
Went shopping for wedding dresses. We're told we could "self serve" as the stylists were booked. We were okay with that as we didn't have anything special in mind. When we looked around we had plenty of people come up and ask us if we needed any help with anything and to let them know if we needed anything. Until the time came to try on a dress. My experience at David bridal was great I was able to find my dress and when my appointment was over my consultant took some time to help me with some ideas about the bridesmaids dress and she was not trying sell everything in store.
This place is nothing compared to the J&B in Chambersburg. My bridesmaids and I went looking for their dresses, and not once were we asked if we needed assistance. It seems as if this place only cares if the bride got her dress there. Between all my bridesmaids we spent over $700 in this store, and for what? Definitely not customer service. Not only was that the worst, but the waiting part it literally took us almost an hour for the girl to ring us out. I will never be going back to this place.
January 11 2018 was an amazing day. We had no clue of what type dress my daughter wanted. Corrie said take your time look at the dresses. Between the 3 of us corrie pulled approximately 12 dresses. She was so encouraging. When the elimination process had dropped to just a few Corrie went and found the correct size. Then she started adding details until my daughter found her perfect dress. They have a nice selection of formal wear to choose from. Little pricey though. I would recommend gating alterations somewhere else. My 13 year old alterations were $65. That was just to take in the shoulder some, add cups, and express fee. We didn't do the hemming due to that would cost another $60.
Buyer beware!! I would never make another purchase from a David’s again. Let’s start with day 1, my daughter found the perfect dress from here. Of course, we purchased it immediately. The staff was very friendly and helpful at that time. We were told the dress wouldn’t be in until December. Three days later we got a phone call it was in. This was a red flag to me.
