Just a fair warning to everyone thinking of going to David's bridal for any reason what so ever.. I went there in February & got my dress, ordered a size smaller than what I had tried on because in was too big & they didn't have the size I needed in store. Well when the dress came in, I went & picked it up & discovered when I tried it on, that it was the wrong size. I am so upset with David's Bridal !! We set up an appointment 2 weeks ago to buy a wedding dress for their $99 sale. Today was to be the last day of the sale, but my daughter also wanted her future mother-in-law to be there & she was coming in today from California.The wedding is scheduled 2 weeks from today.Anyways, they called to confirm the appointment & we had talked to them before, bu they never mentioned that their store in Scottsdale was the only store that was not part of the sale.We got there at 5:30 for our appoint... read more
I went in to try on dresses for my wedding reception. I didn't have an appointment but the manager allowed me to try on some wedding dresses that were on clearance. When I finished and was about to buy a dress, I was approached by a salesperson (actually 2. One of which was the person who called herself helping me the first time I went for bridesmaid dresses. The alterations department is a joke! I would strongly recommend having alterations done elsewhere!
My family has been planning a 50th wedding for my grandparents. Last year everyone went to David's Bridal to get fitted. As we all return to get resized, they tell us that the only thing they have in their system is from last year and they only had one person. With the wedding less than a month away, they have turned a joyous occasion into a nightmare. Not to mention the customer service at this location was less than favorable.
Bought a bridesmaids dress from here, due to unforeseen circumstances I will be unable to use the dress. The dress still has its tags and has never been used and the wedding isn't for another 3 weeks. This David's Bridal is not allowing me to return the dress and were very rude about it. I called customer service and they can't do anything about it either because it wasn't bought online. At the time of the purchase the store suggested that I didn't buy online. What an awful experience we had at this David's Bridal! I had setup an appointment for my maid of honor & two bridesmaids to look for dresses. When we arrived, the consultant helping us told us to hang around while she looked for dresses that I had favorited online. We stood around waiting, and were not offered a place to sit until she had finally found a dress style. Once the consultant brought over the dresses, she disappeared!
