A few weeks ago I called the Manchester, CT store to ask about bringing my dress in to be pressed. The girl said, "no problem! Bring it in a week before your wedding." I asked if she needed any info from me and she said, "no, just bring it in." This evening I called the alterations department and mentioned that I was getting the dress from a seamstress on a certain date and would bring it over. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! Not welcoming at all. Suppose to be an exciting time shopping and my mom ended up finding her own dresses, then had to ask someone if she could get a dressing room, still no one assisted her or asked if she needed anything. Ended up leaving without buying anything. When we went to pick up my daughter's flower girl dress they made it seem like a huge hassle that we wanted to try it on.
Terrible customer service! I went in to buy a dress for an upcoming event, and while trying on dresses not one person checked to see if I need a different size or help zip up the back. I had to keep getting dressed to go find different sizes and there were three ladies talking at the front instead of helping customers. This is the second time this is happened and in the future I will drive to the David's bridal in Raleigh. Worst experience ever. Very poor customer service!! Every dress I tried on was damaged & dirty. GO TO ATHENS DAVIDS BRIDAL they're the best around here.
Dress shopping should be fun and exciting... But after my 2nd visit I felt like crying. My first visit was back in July. I went without an appointment to see what they have to offer. Then I was told I cannot try on any dress unless I book an appointment. So I booked an appointment that same day. I cam back only to know that I was double book with another bride. I was in David's bridal Sunday August 14 w my soon to be sister in law and r families for her to try on dresses.. Samantha the women who helped us or who was suppose to help us was rude and discouraging !! Didn't get her water when asked if she could have some .. When she asked for another dress Samantha told her she tried on enough !! Never looked at the book pages she marked!! This place has been nothing short of one comical error after another. Don't expect anything from them after they screw up your order other then avoidance. Buyer beware.
Worst experience ever. Our consultant didn't want to be there and wasn't helpful at all. Was training a new girl and was so rude to heron front of us all day. Told us they didn't have the dresses u found in the web yet my friends found them in the store. Best part. She told us we had about 20 min left as she was off at 2:00pm. Do not recommend this place at all. Spoke to manager and she wasn't really helpful either.
