Had a great buying experience but after that it all went to crap. They never called and let me know my dress was in I had to call then and come to find out it had been there for a month. Tried to make an alterations appointment and they could get me in but it was going to take four weeks to have my dress done and the next appointment they had was four weeks to the day from my wedding. I went to David's bridal with my sister in law to try on dresses. She had just gotten out of work and I had workout clothes on. The employees gave us sideways looks, didn't offer a "hello" or "good afternoon" and didn't ask us once if we needed assistance as we wandered their weirdly organized racks for 15 minutes. A total "Pretty Woman" moment.
I have been to Davids bridal in grand rapids a few different times and always enjoyed it. Even got my own wedding dress there. A couple of weekends ago my soon to be sister in law and a few of us had an appointment there for her to try on wedding dresses. We arrived early, every dress my sister in law showed our consultant she said "no, no, no, no,no" and crossed them off very rudely. Future Daughter in law made appt we arrive 1/2 hr early to look over dresses our consultant approaches us tells us we only have time to try on 5 or 6 dresses only. When questioned management that this was never mentioned when appt scheduled they said they would talk to consultant. They must have because she took it out in attitude afterwards. I went there Tuesday with my bff and 4 of her bridesmaids. Service Sucked will never go back or recommend anyone go there.. We went to Alfred Angelos and had no appt and had An AMAZING Experience!!! 10 Stars to them ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Maybe u should go there and see how ur supposed to treat ur customers !!!
Friend of mine went down yesterday. Disrespectful service from beginning to end of appointment. No help what so ever trying wedding gowns. There were other clients. However, she had a appointment, yet no personal guidance with getting gown on and off. Your business lost the sale of 6 dresses. Your store was the first choice. The bridal party's needs were considered and cared for right across the street and within 2 hours 5 dresses were ordered and the Bride's gown was cash and carry.
I made an appointment to find dresses for all 6 of my bridesmaids. The consultant, Amber, asked what colors I was interested in, any particular style I was looking for and the sizes my girls needed. She brought us back to 1 fitting room and said that she was going to check if we could have another one. She brought a couple sizes, none of which were the color I had requested. 3 of my girls had to take turns trying on 1 dress. Horrible. Do not go to this store unless you absolutely have to. I am a bridesmaid and we are all getting our dresses from David's Bridal because we are spread all over the U.S. This is the only reason why I went there.. 1. The sales associates offer to 'help' you but then are no where to be found. I was even prepared, I had a list of dresses and the style numbers for those I was interested in but, it is pulling teeth to get help, even with an appointment. 2.
