My 5 month old kitten got a pretty bad eye infection suddenly and couldn't really open her eye and after calling places from Renton to Mount Vernon I finally found Diamond Vet and they were able to see her. Yes the wait is long but it's worth it. I was updated with her progress and results quickly and always kept in the loop. We were out and our house alarm got triggered, we came home to find our dog collapsed and partially paralyzed on the floor. Needless to say, we were extremely worried and concerned. It's a Sunday evening. Diamond was the only emergency veterinary hospital that could see us. I will preface this by saying I've never had a vet emergency, my pup is 8 years old. From my initial phone call to DVH, everyone that I spoke with was kind, patient, encouraging, and informative. The covid policies while annoying (as they are everywhere at this point) are very straightforward. Dr Kristina Modjeski was the doctor on shift during my experience, and Laurissa was the assistant handling my pups case. I came here about 15 years ago and had a very bad experience. Tonight I was treated with respect sympathy and consideration for all my needs. The outcome was not the most desired but what was needed. I have nothing but admiration and praise for the clinic.

I have had several kitties and a dog treated here in the past. They have always been just wonderful to my pets and my family, especially when it was time to send one over Rainbow bridge.

We came here Wednesday night for an emergency with our 13 year old kitty. They were kind enough to give her the pain and anxiety meds we had missed giving her in our rush to get help, and when I called to check on her well-being they were very patient and compassionate and said she was just resting. We ended up having to make the hard decision to have her put to rest, but the vet was so compassionate and helped us in our decision by saying we were in fact doing the right thing, which really meant a lot in our grief-stricken ... read more

They took great care of my dog Eddie. He was very sick after eating something poisonous and he needed a lot of care and stayed for three days. I know because of covid vets are extremely busy everywhere and despite that the techs and vets had good continuity of care and would check on Eddie for me when I called intermittently. Thank you!

My dog wasn't critical, but was urgent and it was the middle of the night. Got turned away from three other EDs without even getting triaged. Called here and they were upfront and told me.how long the wait was going to be, but that they would see me. (And their estimate on the phone was pretty spot on). When I got nervous waiting in the car that my pup was declining, they came out to look and reassured me she'd wasn't going to crash soon. And they would get to her, she would be safe.
