Not what I expected based on reviews and pics The walls were paper thin, there was a dirty washcloth in the bathroom, the window didn’t lock (safety for me because I was solo), possible blood spots on the ceiling, air from the heater/AC blew straight on me (and it was loud), not quiet AT ALL overall.
No one cleaned our room. Price was expensive. Could hear all the neighbours so it was difficult to sleep.

Lovely town, lousy hotel White House Inn needs a lot of work and attention. Rugs in our room were old and stained. Stairs to second floor are dangerous. Outside needs updating.
