Need CD rom to download the software It comes with a cd to download the software. My computer is a MacBook Air and it doesn’t have a CD player. Went to the brothers website to download the software but it still wasn’t compatible with my MacBook.
jams constantly I had an older version of the Brothers scanner that worked great for 2-3 years before failing. It had a great feature "re-scan previous page" so if one page didn't scan properly you could easily just re-scan that page and keep using. This new one does not have that feature and jams constantly! I even replaced it with a new one, same problem. Terrible, I'm throwing this 2nd one in the trash and changing brands.
Disappointing Purchase Product was purchased this March. Lightly used and to my surprise won’t work.

Very disappointed with DSmobile Brother Scannes I bought this product and was running very well. As soon I have installed the version of MC OS Catalina 10.15.1 the Scanner is not working anymore. I have follow every recomendation from Brother's Scanners but always appear in my computer the message "fail to initialize". I am very disapointed with this situation. What can be done?
Not a great product. Horrible product for me specifically, I have a macbook air with OS 10.14
Need software drivers It worked great until Apple upgraded the software for my computer. Still don't have drivers for the new software and it's been a month. The software brother has on their website doesn't work for Apple's new software.
Does not work properly This is not a very good scanner. I have had it for 3 months now and it will no longer scan a complete page. It starts to scan and then resets and continues scanning the same document, but spits the image into multiple pages on the same file. Can't figure out why it does this. Searched online and searched the Brother support system, but no fixes. Additionally, the software is extremely out of date and is not user friendly whatsoever. Works about 50% of the time I usually have to scan a document several times to get the whole document. It will skip a line in the middle of the document constantly.... Forget about doing a multi-page pdf, because every time there will be one of the pages that is not scanned properly. Now I'm getting a communication error. Wish I would have bought a protection plan or returned it right when I first noticed it. Not happy with it's performance whatsoever.
