Amazing!! Thats all i have to say. They saved my French Bulldog puppy that I stupidly purchased in the American Dog Club in the Smithhaven Mall. i paid $3500. on an impulse (i was with my daughter) Brought him home Monday, Tuesday my vet wanted to write a letter stating Un Fit For Sale!!! He had pheumonia and Kennel Cough, He thought he was going die He was put on meds, no good. Sunday night around 9:30pm on 1/24/2916 I was making some crafts and left out a sewing needle with the thread still attached. I went to the fridge to get some ice cream before turning down for the night. As I walk back my cat Mitzi is licking her lips and the needle is no where to be found, we searched for about half an hour! We had to assume the worst because if she swallowed a needle and it punctured her intestines she could die, so we needed to take her to an animal hospital. I cannot say enough great things about this facility, the entire staff is so caring and fantastic at what they do, they have cared for both my dog and my friends animals. Recently we had an unfortunate event that my friend woke up in the middle of the night to find that her golden had unexpectedly passed away in the middle of the night, we were frantic and called east end, not only did they help us the best way possible but they were kind and compassionate in assisting us.. I am often very confused by the negative reviews that people post regarding EEVEC. It is a state of the art facility with skilled Doctors and staff. The sad fact is that emergency pet care is very expensive and is a specialty. Pet insurance is sometimes helpful, but you should assume that if you pet is in an emergency situation, it will be a very costly event. Its a sad situation, but it is a fact. Think if you did not have health insurance and the cost of a Doctor or a Surgeon was coming out of your pocket! We brought ... read more

If I could give 10 stars I would. I want to thank the entire staff for doing everything they could to save my 1 year old kitty. She was brought in after falling over. The head of internal medicine Dr Parrente and ER doctor Morgenstern were simply amazing with her and with my family. I called numerous times and was always treated like my girl was first priority even though I knew they had their hands full. The reception girls were so polite and warm. I have been inspired to write about the excellent and sensitive care my pets have received at EEVEC. I have used the services there on numerous occasions. The staff is exceptional, and Dr. Robin Jaeger is particularly outstanding. She is an outstanding veterinarian, respected by many vets in the community, some many years her senior. This place is one of the best in the business. I've brought each one of my dogs there on different occasions for various reasons, and they've always been "spot on" with the diagnosis, the treatment plan, and the follow up care. It doesn't matter which doctor we see, they have all been top notch. They are so accommodating too. Rocket had a show coming up so he couldn't be shaved. They let me go in the back with him for his ultrasound, and instead of shaving him, they were able to do the study by using alcohol. No other p... read more

I can't begin to explain the wonderful care my dog received during a recent life-threatening emergency. They were literally waiting out front when we arrived and were quick yet calm in assessing the situation. She spent 4 days in the hospital so we met with numerous different doctors, techs and nurses, all of whom were kind and compassionate and above all, patient with my many questions and concerns.
