Get directionsIt doesnt get more difficult then when your 16 year old "puppeenie without a weenie" has progressed past any recovery. Kiki was chasing deer and squirrels and guarding her kingdom just a few months ago, but congenital heart disease and age she could not outrun. The docotrs, advice, staff, and the pragmatic approach and costs here are exemplary and compassionate. During COVID they accomodated my son, wife and I with sending off our little girl. Before catastrophic failure and significant pain and duress. A fant... read more
I am convinced the Veterinarians at this hospital saved my dogs life. It has not been easy as she is on a lot of meds but they gave me a completely different diagnosis from the vet I used to take her to in the city. And now, three years later, I have an 18 year girl who runs and plays as if she is a puppy. Thank you Sam and Dr. Sikorski!
I could not have been more pleased with the way all the staff at east end treated our dog whom had to be admitted for surgery due to ingesting a piece of a tennis ball. Every single person we talked to was so kind and willing to explain / answer any questions we had , they kept us informed at all times. Our dog is definitely not the friendliest when it comes to the vet , she needs a muzzle and can be hard to handle but they were all so wonderful with her it didn't even matter. I saw reviews about how upset people were over c... read more
I'm a physician involved in human medicine. I have had nothing, but positive experiences with this animal hospital. I've interacted with multiple physicians, techs and office staff on issues ranging from allergies to surgical and I've had nothing but professional and compassionate care. They were willing to explain and discuss possible care options and even to recommend alternative care plans and even alternative non-specialty center care when a care plan was beyond my budget. I can't help but think that there is a lack of ... read more
We had an on-going issue with one of our pups and had been to our normal vet that we work with, as well as a different emergency center before coming here. I see some reviews discuss how expensive this place is compared to others, and my own vet stated they would be more expensive than doing it in-house with them, but that they are better equipped to handle anything that could arise from the type of surgery needed. The estimate was also greater than when I received an estimate from another emergency center we had visited, ... read more
A huge thank you to Dr. Collins and the staff at East End Veterinary Center for saving our dog's life this weekend. We rushed our 6 year old Mastiff mix over on Saturday night. We had no idea why she was suddenly completely disoriented, unable to walk and struggling to breath. Dr. Collins correctly suspected toxicity and immediately started treating her. He and his team gave her the best treatment and care possible and she made a full recovery in less than 12 hours. We are so grateful to have East End Veterinary Center nearb... read more
After having a renowned local veterinarian jerk us around for years, we decided to have some definitive testing done to help us rule out cancer for our dog. The vet told us our dog had metastatic cancer. EEVC and their extremely kind staff and vet, Dr. Lauren Sikorski, showed us that was a blatant falsehood. Though very expensive, the practice give you choices and quotes. They do not force or guilt you into any procedure. They treated us like family, though they had never met us before, and they loved my dog like he was... read more
One of the hardest time in my life having to say goodbye to my best friend Samson. Even though protocol sucks when it comes to signing papers and paying they tipped toed so kindly making us comfortable. Much thanks to the doctors and aides that helped us!!! Thank you for being human and loving to our needs.
My 5 year old English Bulldog had a bowel obstruction from an avocado pit and needed emergency surgery. He did very well and they kept me updated on his condition throughout the stay. Yes, the bill was expensive, but I would pay it again. I can only assume their overhead is quite large for 24/7 critical care/ER care.
