I cannot say enough about this facility. My dog had a progressive kidney Disease called Fanconi, and thanks to Dr Lauren Sikorski & Samantha Holmes my Benny lasted a lot longer than most. He was diagnosed almost 2yrs ago and the treatment he received here was absolutely great. The care, concern & love that was given to my boy was unbelievable. They went above and beyond for him. Dr. Perrente literally saved my dogs life. Need I say more!!!! . My heart is full. Thanks to the entire staff at East End for putting up with my craziness thru this journey.. Thank you for giving us our Joey back... What a blessing. Highly recommended

I saw Dr. Intile here for my cat who had cancer. My regular vet recommended her after the test results were inconclusive about the type of cancer. She ran some of the same tests and got the same results. She said we could send it out for further evaluation but would get the same results as my vet did, and it would just cost more money to find out what we already knew. My dog is currently recovering from hip surgery at this hospital. The staff is kind, knowledgeable and attentive. They continuously keep me informed on my dog's progress and I know he's getting the best care possible. I never thought about needing a specialist for my dog but I'm glad we found this hospital in our time of need.

It appears that the issue with negative posts is the cost associated with this place. It is unreasonable to expect anyone to work for free, vets included. This place employs specialists and is a 24/7 operation, so it clearly costs more to run than a 9 to 5 regular vet's office. Having said that, I can say that I have taken several of my pets there and 2 of them have had major surgery there, performed by Dr. Lombardi and Dr. Horowitz. Unfortunately we had to have our beloved family member euthanized. We were treated with compassion and kindness and did not feel at all rushed. I want to thank Dr. Lauren Sikorski and everyone involved in helping us to say goodbye to our pet Babm Fehling.

When my regular vet found an abnormality on my dog's x-ray, he sent me straight to the East End Veterinary Emergency & Specialty Center where Dr. Nick Parente saw us immediately. Dr Parente and his staff took such wonderful care of my dog and explained every detail of testing and treatment to me. They are a kind and caring staff and their facility is modern and spotless. I feel so grateful to have these people available to care for my dog.

My dog Kip was hit by a car @ 8:00 pm and his regular vet was closed. I rushed him to this emergency vet with no idea what I was getting into. The reviews on Yelp were mixed and I was unsure if they could help him and if it was going to cost a fortune. I was VERY pleased with the professionalism and care provided by this vet. After four hours of constant care, I was able to bring Kip home, and since, he has made a full recovery. I took my dog in at 11:30 pm on a Thursday after getting in a fight with another animal. I will say they are the nicest most easy going people I have encountered in a veterinarian office. Dr. Collins was in touch with and super comfortable with my overly anxious dog as well as courteous and informative with me. Office staff was extremely nice as well, I would definitely come back in an emergency or normal visit.
