The doctors and staff at East Maryland Animal Hospital are truly exceptional. I have tried several pet care providers over the past 10 years and never has any one come close to the level of care and customer service we receive at East Maryland. My sweet pit-hound Sunday and I first arrived at EMAH in the panic of a serious health crisis. I've been taking my dogs to East Maryland Animal Hospital for 14 years, and I can't imagine going anywhere else. Over the years my dogs have seen all of the doctors and each of them provided great medical care and advice. After every medical appointment, I received a follow-up call the next day asking how my dog was doing and if I had any questions. I wish people doctors were so attention! We love East Maryland AH. I have been taking my dog "Willow" to Dr. Schroeder for the padt 7 years and "Kellogg" for 3 years. The staff and the Dr.'s are all wonderful. We at Smelly Dog think you guys ROCK!

I took my dog to East Maryland Animal Hospital and I was extremely pleased with their services. My little Cock-a-Poo had gone to Banfield and after a few visits and a total run-around and emptying my pocketbook, I took her to East Maryland Animal Hospital and they treated her Thyroid problem and some other things and I'm happy to say this sick little dog is so much better now. So I e-mailed East Maryland the same afternoon as my visit, explaining that I was disappointed that the coupon I had given them was not honored, and they e-mailed me back before the end of the day, apologizing and letting me know that my Visa would be credited the amount of the coupon. Then they called today to see how the boys were all doing after their shots, and acknowledged the bill issue again, and hoped that everything had been settled to my satisfaction. customer since 2002 of EAST MARYLAND ANIMAL. Since the clinic was sold Ive found front & back office staff are UNABLE to GET THEIR COLLECTIVE ACTS TOGETHER.. My 11 yr old had BENIGN TUMOR- back paw. That vet said, difficult spot & it didn't look easy or inexpensive for surgery. That vet DID lab & finding.. tumor BENIGN not long before. the tumor recently became so big & started bleeding from rubbing. I would caution against choosing this vet clinic, given the number of other options available in the Phoenix metro.. I brought my cat in for an initial check-up in January, and they only detected minor tartar on her teeth. On a second check-up in April they detected a need to remove a tooth, and provided me with a quote ranging from ~$900-$1300, with their earliest appointment in September. If I could give this less stars I would. It's too bad. My dog has allergies. Did a full $90 exam and some shots. Was told that for the next year I could come in and just get the shots. I called in 8 1/2 months later and tried to make an appt for her allergy shot. They told me I was almost at a year and had to pay the $90 again. We took our pets here for 7 years. Dr. Clemons is a wonderful, compassionate and competent vet (5 stars for her personally), but we are leaving the practice solely due to the jarringly condescending, arrogant and dismissive manner in which an employee named KATY spoke to me today when I was desperate for my mother's sick and elderly cat to be seen. The practice deserves better representation and can credit this singular awful experience with Katy for the loss of our business.
