Most definitely the smoothest experience I've had shipping a car. Fairly priced, on time and as promised
I've used DIY twice to transport vehicles cross country. First to arrange shipping my parents boat down to Florida, the second time to transport a Car auction I won online. Overall DIY provided good service @a reasonable in an overly expensive industry price
DIY helped me ship a boat I purchased in an auction online on extremely short notice. Solid Company would definitely recommend
******* was very helpful in booking my car transport. However the process she said would happen did not happen. The driver said that the booking agent knows nothing and that he was in charge of the transport and things would happen his way. Ultimately I did receive my car 2 days late after many phone calls with the driver and a lot of stress.
Easy Auto Ship connected us to a carrier that STOLE our vehicle. We were told so many times they have worked with this carrier previously, they are reputable, etc., but, when we asked for updates throughout the process, we were told to "be patient." It turns out they couldn't get ahold of the carrier. The carrier disconnected their phone number and took our vehicle to ************* (when it was supposed to arrive in ****************--we have vehicle tracking, which is why we were concerned). A bit more communication regarding drop off.. we just got a 30 min notice but luckily we were close by. Also, our first ****** up and cancelled. Hopefully they wont do business with that guy anymore. Not ok when a timeline is involved.
I signed an agreement with them to arrange transport of my car a month prior to my departure. The agent assured me the quote posted was reasonable and that there would be no problem. I received no communication and as my pickup window approached I was reassured that they would find a carrier. When I had no carrier 2 days into the window, the agent said I may have to pay $50 more. Arranged transportation with Easy Auto Ship. Turns out the process was not Easy, nor did my auto ship. Booked three weeks in advance, which it turns out is pointless because they don't begin to seek transportation until your requested day. I was clear that we had a flight out the next day. The larger problem is the complete lack of communication and abysmal customer service. I chased them throughout the day for information.
