I loved my time at the St. George as I feel like most did--amazing location, lots of space to take advantage of (other than your room), overall a super fun and great time here. I recommend it to anyone!

Business response:

Thanks for the feedback, Victoria! We're very happy to hear you enjoyed your time with EHS!

The St. George is a mixed bag. It's a great place to meet people, and has an even better location, but the neglected rooms and unreliable facilities at times make it feel more like an unsavory hostel than off-campus student housing. I could certainly live with the minor annoyances I dealt with during my ten-week stay over the summer, but what really wore on me at EHS were the conditions beyond the residence's pristine ground floor. The hallways smelled of moldy carpet and I dealt with regular maintenance issues in my room (... read more

I've been living here since August and I absolutely love living here, the building is great and so is the area! Since the school I'm going to is only a 6 month program I wanted to live somewhere, where I could still get the college experience of dorm living (which this is 10 times better than any college dorm I have yet been to). Living in a studio room is by far the most spacious and "homey" room I have been in. When I come back from an 8 hour day of classes I feel right at home. Everything is so convenient in the area the ... read more

I have been staying at the St George Clark residence now for 3 months and I have been impressed with the standard of living thus far. Despite Brooklyn Heights being the safest part of the city the 24 security that EHS have to offer is second to none. Can one really put a price on his safety? No. So I think it is a very important factor to consider when moving the New York City. Also, the communal living spaces a clean and comfortable which again is integral. It gives you a pleasant break from your room and offers a clean s... read more

I have been staying at the St. George Residence for a full semester now, and I have really enjoyed it. Free Wifi, rooms come with fridge, microwave, and TV, there is a nice big community kitchen, several quiet study rooms (space can get limited but if you wait you can usually find a seat), and a very kind staff that runs the place. The security is great, and I have never not felt safe here. The location is amazing considering the 2,3 subway is next door and you are one stop away from Manhattan. You also get full access to a ... read more

I am living at the St. George this semester in an exchange program from Tennessee. Overall, I have been pretty happy with the building. I wake up early and use the kitchen when it isn't busy, the gym is inches away, and the subway stop is inches away, too. There's grocery store, CVS, Starbucks, and restaurants extremely close by. Everything is so convenient to this location! I love being so close to the brooklyn bridge and the promenade. The room comes with a big fridge and TV. The RAs are amazing, and the security people... read more

This is my first academic year living at the 1760 Third Avenue Residence and so far so good. Rooms are relatively spacious with their own bathroom and a T.V. To exercise there is a gym in the basement or central park is only blocks away! The staff and R.A.'s are really nice. Kitchens on a few floors which tend to be dirty half the time I go but thats my only minor complaint. Also it is a bit expensive.

This is my second year living in the 1760 Residence. I don't have many complaints. The internet can be slow at times and paying for laundry is annoying but thats basically the same anywhere. The elevators can be annoying at times too. I dorm through Baruch and pricing is not bad at all compared to other options. One of my favorite features is that each room has their own bathroom so you dont have to share a bathroom with a bunch of other people. Communal kitchens are avalible throughout the building, however I dont take adva... read more

Living at the 1760 3rd avenue dorms has been really great! We live right by the subway, it's literally a black and a half away and only 4 blocks away from central park. I think that the location is great and that it's got a great value because of all the things that the actual building offers and because of location. My only complaint is that the cleaners never got to clean my dorm floors because of a mix up. But I would definitely recommend dorming here!
