My wife and I are both members here. We have college kids that are attending school out of state who have come home for the weekend on occasion. We have always gotten a free day pass for them. Today, my son was in town for one day. I take him with me and the ladies up front argue with me for 5 minutes about how their is a $15.00 charge to bring him in for one day. I was satisfied with this gym until recently. They offer a parents night out which is great. The website states children 2 and up can attend. I went in to sign my child up and was told he needed to be three but it would probably be okay the girl then went and asked the childcare and they said it was fine. I even proceeded to go into the childcare and update my sons emergency card with my moms info so she could pick him up and talked to the lady in the childcare who even said it would be fine. My wife is a member at this club and I thought I would try it out on a two week free pass. First. If you want to go to a club where people are very impressed with themselves, then this is your club. Lots of gold chains, plastic surgery, and torn wife beater t-shirts to show there muscles. The mens locker room has a steam room that has black mold and mildew throughout. Parents, beware of this gym's daycare facility. They do not have a play center policy and because of this do not regulate their staff to child ratio. My infant son was left in his car seat sleeping in another room with a half door and I was told he was checked on every few minutes. A simple baby monitor would ease this issue, but the general manager stated the staff may not hear the baby on the monitor and besides, the door was half open and staff could see through a window to check on the babies in the nursery. The childcare center is great. They have great activities, and the kids always have a blast. The gym offers quite a few classes, and the equipment is in good working order. Seems like a lot of guests don't wipe down their equipment and take care of the areas. The locker rooms are the same way, hit or miss on cleanliness. The staff that handles memberships is lacking. They are running a business, but are also in customer service. I've had quite a few people, including myself, have issues freezing and cancelling the membership... read more

Was told that my infant would be supervised at all times during my workout, but discovered my 4 month old in the back room behind a closed door unsupervised!!!!! Spoke to the manager and they said they "check on them every couple minutes". I suggested a baby monitor and she said she would consider that lol. My God! This is the only time I wished the service matched what was advertised!!!!

Absolutely horrible customer service and a total ripoff! Canceled my membership but they told me that I needed to come in and put it in writing. Continued to charge me and asked for another $300 to then finally "close" my account. Teresa in accounting was extremely rude and uncompromising to say the least. I have had their membership since my second tour overseas and look forward to my new membership at InShape in Shingle Springs!

They are severely lacking in training when it comes to paperwork for their front desk and office. I went in to cancel my membership and was told that my husband would still be on the account when he submitted new payment information and that as of the end of the month, our accounts were not active. When we decided that we weren't coming back, and never submitted the new payment information, we began receiving bills two months later for BACK PAYMENT for my husband's membership. This place has gone DOWN HILL! it is always so dirty and not well cleaned. The TV's on the equipment dont work correctly most of the time, the steam room is always shut down, showers are out of service. 24 hour fitness keeps a cleaner gym!! Very sad.
