No calls back except when $$$ or an online review needed (well, here it is). Estimate said motor was fine, $876 later, an unpainted, a damaged replacement panel and door hardware was installed with a promise that management would see if they could do anything about it (the damaged, unpainted panel they just installed, then took payment for after bulldozing my girlfriend to accept the damaged door panel and pay. Had a door break on Saturday and they were able to fix it immediately. However, it seemed to me that the price was very expensive $900 to put in two door springs that appear to be anywhere from $25 to $60. "Tune" up and unbroken door for $200.

I have mixed feelings about this company. The man who came and installed the door did a wonderful job and was extremely friendly, as was the man who came out to measure and give an estimate. However, the customer service was awful. After they came out to measure and I placed the order they called to confirm and told me due to my door being slightly larger than most it would take about 2 weeks to get it in stock and then could install right away. Sickening at how expensive this company is. My garage door spring broke on a Saturday. I needed access to my car so to their credit, they came out, "made the sale" (in their words when talking to their dispatch center), and then someone else came back to do the repair. So they got it fixed the same day, which I guess some would say it what I paid for. But please shop around, I wish I would have slowed down and thought about what I was doing. I had a motor installed. The equipment works and it was a quick install. However, when I originally called they said they had to send out a technician for an estimate and to look over the garage before any service could be scheduled. The tech that came out was told he was doing the project right away which I was not prepared for. Further, I thought the service and equipment was expensive. I called because my gate would not open or close without an alarm like a squeak. The next day a technician met me at the house and I showed him. In one second, he explained that this was simply a battery that needed to be replaced. I was relieved and he replaced the battery while I waited for him to give me the bill. I was prepared for perhaps a $100 fee maximum for coming out to assess the simple problem that he diagnosed in one second. Our garage door opener went on the fritz on a Friday afternoon and would not open or close all the way. Being handicapped, and needing to go to work that night, it was extremely vital to us that it be repaired or replaced that afternoon. The technetium came about an hour after I called Precision, replaced the door opener for us, and programmed extra remotes that we wanted and that he had on hand. Talked to a lady in the office before the repairman showed up and was quoted a price for a broken spring, repair man shows up and says it’s going to be double what was originally told to me, repair man said” our springs are top quality and your original spring was low quality.” Why do repair men and office lady have 2 different prices on the “only springs we use”..
