One of,the worst companies we have ever deslt with. We places an order Gates and were told the sales People would be contactinf us. In two months we have never seen anyone in person. We had test measages fromthem with pictures of sample Gates. We were discourage from coming to office to review the sample Gates. Paid them 50% down and stipulatie Gates had to be in by end of June. Still have not heard a thing from them. This started in earlyMay.
poor communication, poor customer service, poor response time. numerous of calls made to communicate and rectify the problem and no follow up from even the supervisor.
3rd visit I hope finally fixed the problem. The service person ground down the connection instead of hammering on the track.
They charged me almost $600 to replace my garage standard door spring. It only took 45 minutes to complete the work. I feel like I got hosed. Tried to work with management on a fair price and they wouldn’t budge. I learned a lesson, always get a quote prior to arrival.
Bought a garage door from Elite. First rain all the water came in under door. Supervisor came out and said the wrong rubber door threshold was installed. He sold me a "heavy duty threshold for another $449.49. I paid half and they installed it. The next rain all the water came in again. Supervisor came back out, told me that it was installed improperly. He said he would order the parts and come back within 10 days to install. The repairman was great and his labor charges were fine but the prices of the parts and motor were so far out of line you can't believe it. Parts that should have cost 5 or 6 hundred were $2500. And the motor I could have purchased at Costco for under $500. they wanted $1499.99 not counting a mounting bracket and belt for $369. I have to say the repairman did a very nice job but the over charges killed the experience for me.
Door was originally installed in 10/2018. It was a decent price. I WAS impressed with the sales guy. The original installer damaged a panel during the install and said another would be ordered. Weeks later, a new panel arrived and another attempted install. This time they damaged the new panel and another panel during install. (Dents in the exterior from improper installation). Labor charge ridiculously High, to punch in a new remote. It took about 15 to 20 minutes to do,yet labor charge was not prorated. Tech man was efficient and helpful.
Poor performance for the charges. Hired to straighten damaged door. Retailed one wheel and left bowed out damage as it was originally
