never use this company. They refuse to give you a quote and then try and upsell you a new system. my garage door worked perfectly all I needed was a remote opener programed. the tech told me my opener motor was broken showed my a small piece and tried to charge me $1000 for a new system. when I said it worked before he arrived he said it broke just then. I should have known when he kept insisting I wait inside while he worked. I am a business executive and feel stupid I let this happen to me. Please share and never use this ... read more

Homeowners Beware! This company sneaked a door from the shop where I work and did not pay for it. When I called them and asked for them to pay for what they took, they refused. I would never let these people near my home for fear my valuables would "go missing" as the wooden door did. I am shocked. ****** ********

I feel they were very expensive, I should have shopped around but I had tenants that needed the fix quickly so there personal items were safe. I told the technician the price seemed very high and he kept bringing up the word safety. I feel he kept saying the word safety to make the sale. I would definitely shop the price next time!

I called last Friday because my moms garage door opener failed. Because I had worked with Precision I call them only to have them quote $997 and $1100 for a 1/2 horsepower opener with sensors, remotes. I called the installer and was given a an explanation like I have never heard to justify the charge for what should have been a $400-500 installation. Tried to sell me $1600.00 of new garage door and trimmings. When I didn’t jump at his offer he came down to $500.00 and then to $200.00. This was just to get the door down, but also saw other problems. I had it checked out the next day and only needed the wires tightened. If I hadn’t had a male friend with me, I feel I would have been ripped off.

I called on Sunday because my garage door had a problem with the cables being off the tracks but no broken springs. I needed to have this repaired as our neighborhood has had a rash of garage thefts. David responded in a timely manner. He said the cables in the end bearing plate was bad which was obvious. He added that the springs needed to be replaced because they were the wrong size for the door. Since I had problems with them in the past I agreed. The bill ended up being $916.12. Door spring broke and set was efficiently replaced. Just didn't expect nor appreciate all the up-selling attempts and fear tactics by the technician. Door opens and closes correct following spring replacement.

Service was prompt (almost too prompt) When I called was told tech would be out between 6-8 p.m. He showed up at 1:30. Good thing I was home. In 15 minutes, provided a temp fix, tightening the spring and lubing everything. Cost $211 which seemed a bit high. I asked about coupons I had printed but was told coupons were built into price. Tech also advised complete new set up--door, spring, rollers, hardware and garage door opener would be $3,000.00 and include a lifetime warranty. Used the guys in the past and went back when a spring broke. Had the same job done in Wisconsin for about $180 here around $800. Way to expensive and should have gone elsewhere.
