Comfortable seating. Decent pricing for a large theatre. Very, very, very dirty bathrooms. Hard to find a toilet without piss all over it. Counter tops were soaked with water. Watched Mamma Mía to the high volume bass rumblings of the neighboring showing.

After a very long and rough weekend… Was excited to catch up with an old friend and see a movie last night. Unfortunately it was absolutely freezing in the theater. I don’t mean slightly chilly, we are talking shivering cold. Before the movie even started I asked a worker in five or six other people were asking the person to adjust the temperature. Normally we have a good time here but we decided to spend a little extra money one night and go see a movie on one of the biggest screens in Michigan. So after $30 in tickets and $30 in concessions we sat down to watch Jurassic World. About 75% of the way through our movie it cuts out. I get that things happen, but we were simply offered the opportunity to see the movie in another theater playing at the time. We would have appreciated some kind of refund or free item in compensation for our night falling flat like that.

Tonight, during the opening (10pm) showing of Jurassic World 2, we had made it through about an hour of the movie. When all of the sudden the screen went black and the lights came on. 2 staff members came in a yelled from the front that the projector (super e max) had broke. We were given a free admission to another movie at a later date. When asked about concessions, we can’t do anything about that. Now that they installed recliners, it limits the space for seating availability which means movies sell out quicker way more than normal. Let’s say it’s Sunday, a film (not Marvel or DC) comes out Friday, instead like in the old days where you can go up to the counter, you literally have to get tickets on Monday. Would have been great had we not discovered that our car had been keyed while we were watching a movie. Considering our car was parked next to the building, you would have though the amount of security patrolling this evening would have deterred the action. Will think twice about seeing a movie here again...especially since we’re now out several hundred dollars to repair our car...
