My son took me and my granddaughter and paid once we got in the movies they said she had to be 6 or older then we went to see a kid movie but they was sold out what a waste

It was ok. I consider Emagine to be the gold standard of movie theaters due to price and marketing... I’ve watched black panther in 3 different theaters, the other two cheaper... and better experiences... it’s confusing coming in if you bought tickets online. The sound was trash... like there were a few speakers not connected. There were times where the vocals cut out and it could have been construed as part of the movie but I’ve seen it 4 times so I know What it’s supposed to sound like. I've been an Emagine theatre Novi customer for over 8 years since I've moved to this area. I hate the new concession stand set-up that they changed recently about 6 months ago. It's not a good system. First you stand in line for popcorn or hot food, then stand in another line to pay for the food and then stand in 3rd line to get your drinks. You can be late for your movie depending on the crowd. I love love love the new reclining assigned seats. But now the popular movies are constantly sold out because now they only half... read more

Attended an extremely disappointing and disorganized movie premiere event this evening. Movie ran for about 20 minutes before being stopped due to technical issues--no closed captioning for a large community of patrons who needed it (and theater had prior knowledge of this need). Waited about an hour before movie started again with no closed captioning. One of the young actors was deaf and her community had come out for support but could not participate fully in the moviegoing experience. It was a fiasco and ruined what shou... read more

I’m very disappointed in the lack of preparation this theater had for the clientele that was coming to support a premier movie. The movie had a deaf actress and the deaf community was out to support her but could not enjoy the movie because there was no closed captioning for it. For shame. I will not visit this theater again.
