Wow, I'm shocked at the negative reviews. Are we talking about the same company here?? It kind of makes me wonder. My experience is exactly opposite of these negative complaints. They have covered all my claims very quickly. Submitting a claim is a breeze online. Every time I have called I get a person on the phone almost immediately without wait. They are extremely helpful. There is nothing at all for me to complain about.
I don't often write poor reviews but DO NOT buy this pet insurance. We got a new puppy in January. I mentioned to our vet that he was vomiting after eating dirt. It was noted in his chart. In August, he began vomiting violently and we took him to urgent care. Embrace denied this claim calling it a pre existing condition. This insurance is a waste of your money and unethical.
Not worth it. They will find any and all excuses to not pay claims.
A week after my dog was attacked by a coyote, I attempted to file a claim online. I could not log in because my username and pw were denied for no reason. Multiple unanswered calls, ridiculous wait times, finally one email directing me to the same 1800 number that no one answers. This is a scam. I filed 7 insurance claims in one year. They did not honor a single one. I canceled the insurance, they sent me a notice that it was canceled and then continued charging my credit card STAY AWAY. THEY ARE A SCAM
I am so beyond furious right now and cancelling my account with these scammers aka Embrace Pet Insurance. It's like they concoct their own story in their head no matter what proof of information you share with them. I had done an appeal and went above and beyond trying to share that my dog NEVER HAD A HISTORY OF HEART FAILURE but they made up their own story and said "it's clearly shown" that this is preexisting, don't you think I would know if it is. Do not purchase pet insurance from Embrace. I increased my policy after the death one of our pets. Submitted several claims for our other pet and Embrace will not cover the claims stating pre-existing conditions even though there was NO pre-existing conditions. DO NOT PURCHASE PET INSURANCE FROM EMBRACE.
