I woke up w/happy tears today after many HELLISH years. I am so very thankful to 2 AMAZING women Rachel & Brittany w/@EmbracePetIns that went above & beyond for me yesterday and today. I absolutely love Embrace Pet Insurance. I am so glad that I got this pet insurance on my golden retriever as soon as I adopted him. He was healthy and happy until he developed epilepsy at the age of 3. Embrace has allowed our family to be at ease when it comes to spending money on my dog's treatment. Wow, I'm shocked at the negative reviews. Are we talking about the same company here?? It kind of makes me wonder. My experience is exactly opposite of these negative complaints. They have covered all my claims very quickly. Submitting a claim is a breeze online. Every time I have called I get a person on the phone almost immediately without wait. They are extremely helpful. There is nothing at all for me to complain about.

A newborn does not have pre-existing conditions, yet theyll gaslight you saying your puppys condition is pre-existing even if its their first vet visit. Then theyll deny you, mark the condition as a permanent pre-existing, and theyll raise your rate 25% a year or more. My veterinarian from ********************* argued with them on my behalf and they literally said sue us over speaker phone for both of us to hear. This company is a scam, many better alternatives. Literally ANYTHING but this insurance.

I insured a 6 month puppy just over a week after adopting from a shelter. There is a waiting period for the insurance to start. The second day after the accident portion of the coverage began my puppy passed a ****** bundle of sticks and needed to be hospitalized. Embrace will not cover it as there was no specific incident in which he ate a stick (he was just crazy about eating everything after being in the shelter his whole life and it was a constant battle). I had two pets on the accidental insurance policy with Embrace. One of the dogs died, so I reduced the policy to one dog with an annual cost of $1,101.84. On 5/4/26, I was notified that my Embrace renewal policy will increase to $2,215.08, a ******% increase. They only cited the dog's age (healthy 8 year old dog), as the cause of the astronomical increase. In my opinion, this is the classic bait and switch as Embrace knows the insured can't switch insurers due to a lack of coverage for any pre-existing condition.They also su... read more

They denied my cat coverage for any dental issues since on our initial vet exam (we adopted her at 2 y/o) she presented with gingivitis, and NOTHING aside from gingivitis. We appealed this by having our vet send paperwork that stated the condition was cleared after a tooth cleaning and they still denied us coverage. They stated that it is considered a "preexisting condition" and she would never be covered for anything dental related for the rest of her life.
