I have been an embrace customer for 4 years, we have had some delays and bumps and some appeals but overall good experience. My renewal just came in and my monthly premium has increased 49%!!!!!! I understand with age prices can increase but almost 50%??? my dog is 6, not 12 or 15. I called customer service, friendly as always, however only able to offer that I lower my coverage. what a sham, 20% increase? sure! but 50%? and not being able to offer a loyalty discount or something like other insurance types, that is greed.

We have been paying premiums for years and our pets are healthy. But when the need came with my pets, even with complete history, not one claim was considered. They will no longer care about getting a bad review after getting thousands of dollars. Fake positive reviews will keep coming for more victims like me. Karma will take care of it. We could have used our hard earned money for real insurance out there. So sad.

We paid our premiums starting at $52/month in 2017 and the prices gradually went up to us now paying $164/month. We had questioned why the premium went up during the first part of the Covid pandemic and we were told it was a one-time jump and should just rise gradually from that point. We have had zero claims for our dog other than the yearly $250 Wellness Reward that we pay $18/month. Now, all of a sudden, our premium jumped to $250/month. I strongly do not recommend Embrace Pet Insurance. We paid premiums expecting coverage for our pets, but when we filed our claims, all were denied. Both our family veterinarian and a veterinary specialist provided written letters confirming that the injuries were not pre-existing conditions, yet the company still refused coverage. We submitted thorough medical documentation and followed their process, but our claims were dismissed without fair consideration. After this experience, we canceled our policy. my cat died two months ago. I never used my policy before I paid into it for years. I have not received a dollar from them. They requested the same documents three times from the vet. I sent them the same documents twice and they keep requesting the same things I had healthy paws for 10 years. I have the money in my bank account in less than a week. Do not trust this company.
I don't often write poor reviews but DO NOT buy this pet insurance. We got a new puppy in January. I mentioned to our vet that he was vomiting after eating dirt. It was noted in his chart. In August, he began vomiting violently and we took him to urgent care. Embrace denied this claim calling it a pre existing condition. This insurance is a waste of your money and unethical.

A week after my dog was attacked by a coyote, I attempted to file a claim online. I could not log in because my username and pw were denied for no reason. Multiple unanswered calls, ridiculous wait times, finally one email directing me to the same 1800 number that no one answers.
