I specifically called to inquire about preventative maintenance options for my pets. After paying into a policy suggested by one of the representatives, I was informed that I could not get reimbursed. Before canceling, I was offered the option to pay for another policy that does cover this reimbursement. It's ridiculous that I was paying into this policy for an entire year only to find out that I could not submit my claim for my cat's vaccinations. This feels very misleading, and I feel that I was ripped off.

This is by far one of the most dishonest and unreliable insurance companies I’ve dealt with. They go out of their way to deny legitimate claims, using false accusations and outdated or irrelevant information to justify their refusal. In my case, they falsely claimed I had overlapping coverage with a Canadian policy that was cancelled over three years ago—an absurd and baseless excuse. TL;DR: Embrace used our dog's experience of diarrhea in a shelter as a puppy to establish a pre-existing condition that has lasted 1.5 years despite the infrequency of symptoms (any single admission of vomiting / diarrhea resets a 12-month clock), and recently used it to get them out of covering an exam and x-ray for panting, gagging, and extreme lethargy. Disappointed with Embrace – Insect Bite Not Considered an “Accident” I purchased accident coverage from Embrace to ensure my dog, ******would be protected in unexpected situations. Increased policy by a couple thousand every year on top of the $400 deductible that doesn’t cover preventative care, dental, etc. They want over 8k this year & once a dog is 16 they have preexisting conditions other companies won’t cover - so embrace takes advantage of that. TOTAL SCAM

Outrageous premium increase of 400% After 15 years of paying monthly premiums including very minor yearly increases this year they raised my premium over 400%. I went from paying $81/month to the new increase of $322.50/month!! The person I spoke with thought this was entirely reasonable and offered to cancel the policy since I was so unhappy with the change. So yes the service was good for those years but this is how they treat you and your precious pet when they would probably need it the most. Don't fall for this trap

Horrible pet insurance. Have accident and wellness coverage on my pet. Have had multiple wellness exams that they covered no problem. I requested that they get my animals previous history to make sure his coverage was activated after waiting period. Was told all was good fast forward 4 months and my boy swallowed a piece of plastic and when throwing it up he also threw up blood so I rushed him to a pet hospital. 3 X-rays and $700 later he was given a clean bill of health.
