Embrace pet insurance will find ways not to pay the claims! My dog ate a bur and was coughing so naturally I took him to the vet. Embrace claims that the bur may not be the cause. Since a day after he ate the bur clearly passing it my dog has been 100% fine. I wonder if a person at Embrace at a few burs if they might cough?? Not worth the coverage as they ****** do not want to cover the dog!

This company is a total scam! They wont cover anything and they double your premiums every single year. Theyre stealing money from every one of their customers and they need to be shut down immediately. Embrace Pet Insurance Company does not act in good faith. They do not honor their contract. My dog is adopted. They did a thorough search of all health records from previous vet clinics. They established pre-existing conditions based on the data they obtained and then provided a waiting period for services. I have saved these communications. I paid over $300 a month to insure three dogs. I have filed two claims that sit in limbo. I am told they keep needing this or that from the vet. I have uploaded everything they say they need manually using their app. When I address that, they need something else. It's clear that they are never going to pay out, and I am paying a premium for nothing. IT'S A TOTAL SCAM!!! Wouldn't even provide any stars. Very disappointed. Beware Embrace considers fatty tumors on a lab a pre-existing condition and will deny you any type of cancer coverage, when fatty tumors are not necessarily cancerous. My labs doctor thought this fatty tumor was suspicious, embrace denied the biopsy and removal citing she had previous fatty tumors aspirated. Anyone who has labs knows they all have fatty tumors. Hate to have to give this rating but I have to. I have been with embrace for about 4 years. I received the quote for next year and my jaw dropped. I understand as a pet ages the cost for renewal goes up. It works the same way with humans. Every year it would go up around $100-200 but not this time. I paid about $700ish for all of 2025 and next year is about $1300ish. Almost double, this is insane. I have had embrace for YEARS. For several different cats. I love the app function til about 5 years ago and then it was a c*** shoot trying to get it to load. But I loved their coverage so I stuck with it.
