God I hope this company gets shut down. Please listen to these reviews and avoid them. I regret ever starting my pets on this policy. All they do is deny any possible claim. They relate an ear infection to any type of skin infection. I think they honestly make this stuff up it’s wild. I do not trust them at all at this point because they will say everything is because of one tiny preexisting condition. If you even mention something in the vet notes they will get you for it even if your pet doesn’t have confirmed issues.

I had 3 pets insured for 2 and a half years, when filing my first and only claim with them, they classified the condition as a preexisting condition, denied my claim, and then offered a reimbursement of less than 2 months worth of premiums. I then learned, they had been increasing premiums without notifying me. I strongly recommend reviewing the experience of people who have submitted claims before signing up with them and will now personally only work with a service directly attached to my vet.

DO NOT GET THIS INSURANCE. I was told I needed exam during the waiting period. That is all. It turns out that beside that they wanted the animal shelter records and I only found that out because I asked for a medical review. I advise people to file a formal complaint with their state consumer affairs department. And write lots of reviews. Might help someone to avoid them. And if you dona cost analysis, it really doesn’t pay to have pet insurance.

They won't cover older rescue pets!! I had a rescue cat that had not been seen by a vet in over a year. Insurance agent (that assisted me in figuring out my plan) told me that I had to get her seen for her yearly WITHIN the 14-waiting period or else her accident/illness coverage would not apply. What do you think happens during a yearly checkup? They make diagnoses. Vet diagnosed her with tartar build up and a mammary mass, and we got the appointment set up for her surgical procedures. If I could give this company negative stars I would. What is the point of paying every month if you deny every claim for animals who are suffering? Denied my claim for a procedure for a heart murmur, but then also denied my claim for his normal wellness checkup. So what exactly do you pay for in that case??? The people that work here must have thick skins or no soul if they take your money and don't help your pet when they need it most.

Stay away! All they do is take your money and then give you list of reasons for not paying per their pre exisiting clause. Even tell you to "take a peek" at their policy. I have wasted several years worth of premiums with them only to be turned down on everything!!! Then they sneak in doctor exams and prescriptions coverage when I did not include. Cannot talk to anyone as they have online a permanent line about lines being so busy. Finally get thru and put on hold. Terrible company don't waste your money!!! 0 stars for 0 was... read more

Expensive - Slow Response - Unjust Rulings of Claims Policy jumped up an additional 60% in a single year with no explanation meanwhile I have multiple claims denied unjustly. My pet suffered a flea bite that irritated a spot on his back 2 years before we started the policy - it was treated and there were no further issues. Now my cat is suffering from an unrelated skin condition (dust allergy) and they refuse my claims because he had that 1 instance of a dermatologic condition/skin lesion before the policy started. NO STARS but had to 1 to post. I hate them! Not helpful. They take my money but refuse to pay out. Heres my story… Got a dog and went through **** for pet insurance. **** uses Embrace. I had this vet but they closed fast and unexpectedly. I went to a new vet, got all my dogs yearly vaccine shots and sent Embrace a claim for first time.
